This is a quick demonstration of the Thrive Leads Asset Delivery feature, which lets you associate specific downloadable files with your opt-in forms and those will be sent instantly to new subscribers.

Using that feature now and I love it! It's also good to know that there is a file size limit on any pdf uploaded to Wordpress of 20 mgs. Compress your pdf first before uploading! Thanks for the awesome tutorial. It made using this feature a breeze.

Hi, I don't see the asset delivery option in my version of ThriveLeads. Does that have anything to do with the fact that I use Mailerlite?

Hi Rochelle, it still is. You can find it in the top right menu under "advanced features" and then you'll see asset delivery.

hi, congrats for idea and for implementationof that.... actually i am facing problem as someone else... using mailchimp, connected with api... is asking for mandrill api.... is another tool we need to get for use this feature?

You have to connect to an email delivery service for this feature, yes. It doesn't have to be Mandrill, though, there are other options as well. We've written about this here: thrivethemes.com/tkb_item/why-email-delivery/
I tried this, but unfortunately it doesn't work with GetResponse. I tried adding Madril through my hosting service and that ended up being about an hour's waste of time. It was so complicated a process that I couldn't make it work. I'll look back into this again, but it would be easier if it worked with GetResponse.
I also wasted 4 hours -- big pain!!!
Hi, it's really great future, but what if i have large file, and i want to upload it for example at (Dropbox ) and i want to use that instead of uploading the file in my Wordpress. is that possable?
How about if I want visitors to get an instant pdf download to their internal folder eg "Download" for Mac as soon as they click the button, rather than having the file emailed to them?
You can do that by linking the button with custom URL of your file. I did that. It worked but you will need a CSS code to stop the button keep loading even after the file is sent.
Shane, does the delivery asset have to be on your website or could you have it saved in Amazon S3?
You can definitely host the files on S3, yes.

Can anyone help with my question- How do you change the "From" email address customers see in the email they receive sent via asset delivery with their download??
This would depend on the email delivery system you're using... I suggest googling it or looking it up on their knowledge base :)

We don't have integrations with any payment processors, so you can't use our tools to apply this same kind of thing as a purchase notification.
