To just swim it looks better. I didn't like to see it tilt over sideways in the stop and fight stance. Id love to see one with the high floatation claws . 😊

I have been using this bait as a jig trailer with good success!
Put it on the back of a swim jig and see how it looks
If you can figure out how to make it fall straight up and not lay on its side, buddy you'd have an all time great. I took mine and split the claws and added small chunks of foam then used soft plastic glue. It makes it stand up more and the claws float. It just takes forever to do and you'll ruin some baits until you perfect it

Yeah they dont stand up to Coosa river spots, 2 fish and they are done. They do work though
I normally get 2-3 fish per a bait. Which I feel like from all the baits I’ve used on the market is above average.
Checked these out at a store, not liking how small and thin the connection between the body and paddles is, can tell they will tear off quickly and easily thus, no thanks.

Very close. This bait is actually really a sleeper weightless. I’ve worked just like you might a cover scat
@@WheelerFishing reason I was asking is, the DoLive Beaver on a free rig (regular sizes not finesse, think t-rig replacement) will flap/flop whatever you want to call it while the weight is pulling it down. Once the weight hits bottom, it goes flat and sinks horizontally almost like a real crawfish. It's been able to get bites when other things won't.
What hook size do ya recommend for this bronco bug brother?
I personally like a Redline 4/0 VMC straight shank for this bait.

I personally like a VMC 4/0 Redline heavy duty flippin hook. This bait is a little bit thicker so you can get a fish or two more out of it so I prefer something with a little more hook gap.

You have to swim it, keep it moving. Not that great pulling along the bottom, has to swim or hop.
