    What a fantastic review of the Can-Am F3S. I bought my first 5-speed SE5 Can-Am in 2008 and loved it. Just bought another F3S and so looking forward to using it on a regular basis. Great image of Europe layed over Oz - never seen that before - now I understand how huge your beautiful country is. Thank you for the video, thoroughly enjoyed it and if it wasn't raining and dark I'd be out on mine! Consider doing a re-visit? I think you'll have as many subscribers!!

      Thanks glad you enjoyed the video, you will love your F3S. A re-visit? as in another F3S video. It wouldn’t take a lot of convincing, it’s a joy to ride.👍

    THE BEST review of an FS I have ever seen! Incredibly done, very professional! Love the details and combination of riding and stationary shots. I am curious if there are differences in the US version? I promise you, this will be your break out video!!!

      Thanks Beth that’s so sweet I enjoyed making it, no US version of this model is the same to the best of my knowledge . I’m sure an F3S owner Stateside will let us know. 👍🦘

    I can tell from your review that you thoroughly enjoy your bike. Thanks for the comprehensive review. I'm hoping to purchase a second hand one soon. I have recently sold a Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager 1700 and as I 'm getting a bit older the three wheels seems like the best option if I want to keep riding. Thanks for your video, enjoy your ride.

    Nice informative video. I'm sold. Current used prices in UK are high, High, HIGH.

    • @standupmoto
      @standupmoto  2 года назад +1

      Hi , yes the same in Aus. Used prices are through the roof and new is just unavailable, I note your in the UK. The big thing you will notice is wet or super slippery roads just don’t matter anymore, I have spent some time with the Spyder since making the video riding through some pretty average what you would call B roads in the wet. It takes some time to get your head around the fact you just zap around the bends no matter what the conditions, it’s great. Glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers. ps (haven’t experienced black ice, not something we get here)

    I just bought a 2021 F-3S. It is a great bike. I have been a 2 wheel bike ridder for over 35,-40 years. Do I miss the leaning? Some but not really. It is a blast to ride. Can’t wait for winter to end. I purchased mine in November so I only got to ride it 3X but it was great!

    • @standupmoto
      @standupmoto  2 года назад +1

      Great stuff you’ll love it, just don’t try to fight it on rough roads (loose grip) it’ll sort it’s self out. Wet roads are a breeze, you can still lean a bit by dropping your hip a bit in the bend, this takes away the feeling of it trying to throw you off the opposite side. You will get used to riding it after 10 hours or so, ride safe. Cheers

    I have recently come across your videos and enjoy them very much. The biggest concern I have with my F3-S is the poor lighting situation in the rear. I see where you have some extended turn signals, but I couldn't figure out who makes them or where I could purchase some.
    If you have that information, I would appreciate you sharing. phi

    • @standupmoto
      @standupmoto  3 года назад +3

      Hi Phill glad you enjoyed the video, my F3S is Aus spec std. we have a regulation here so I’m told that the turn signals hav to be a minimum distance apart so what you see on mine is std. What you may be able to do is get your CanAm dealer to get some Aussie spec stalks direct from BRP. Hope this helps, cheers Steve.

    • @standupmoto
      @standupmoto  Год назад +2

      Hi Sam yes I am very spoiled when it comes to nice places to ride for sure, also in less than 1 hour I am in near on desert conditions which is great for my adventure bike side of things. The screen is a genuine CanAm, it’s ok if you’re less than 5’10”. I am 5’10” and still get buffet. A friend at 5’6” gets none when riding my F3. Yes for sure the sway bar improves the handling & I recon it steers better, doesn’t seem to get that under steer when coming out of corners under acceleration. Hope this helps, great to hear from Seattle, ride safe. Cheers.

    • @standupmoto
      @standupmoto  3 года назад +3

      Gday, the Puig I have is the 6320H. With this one you don’t have to drill the screen, it just clamps to it. It’s ok up to about 90kph (55mph) , but doesn’t really do much at highway speeds. I note your comment you love it, I agree . They are a great mount, Cheers.

Then 5/16 steel rod shaped to the fixture points on the bags with sleeves welded to the rod each end then bolted separately to the C-section. 👍

      Hi Tony, fortunately very few nowadays but back in my motocross & enduro days I of course had the occasional off. Bitumen racing I had a couple, but mainly high speed slides for which by track rules we had to have the appropriate clothing so no big deal there. I finished my competition days riding observed trials which due to the low speed results in ver few injuries. Cheers
