If you can't run a wired connection to each satellite, then wifi 7 backhaul is a high-performance option with NO impact on your other bands. Hardly useless for this use case, which is probably the majority of homes.
Future Proofing, Technology evolve so fast you can't even imagine... it has spanned over 1000% year by year. That is insanely fast, and so terrifying to even think about it.
Yes BUT wifi 7 protocol has all kinds of wifi tehcnologies that can slightly improve connection. Such as MIMO is one popular technology know about. But theres HUNDREDS of little protocols/algorythms/technologies that routers for wifi, in the background! WIfi engineering is a deep subject with not many resources to study the small level stuff in detail, on the internet.
I spent a least a whole day... lots of sweat and frustration to run a wired backhaul a while ago. My main router is in a difficult place to run wires, but eventually I got it done.
My 6E will do for now. Not even sure there’s an internet provider in my area that supports speeds those systems can handle. Like having a car that can do 205mph, but no roads I can do more than 80mph on. 😂 I love the Deco’s though. Mine work great.
320 MHz is the new largest channel width in Wi-Fi 7. Actual throughput has more than quadrupled from 9.6 Gbps to 46 Gbps. Wi-Fi 7 is quite future-proof with those speeds. There are also a ton of new features!
I currently use the Deco P9 and installed it solely because of the back haul capabilities. To be completely honest I have mixed results using it. If one of my nodes goes down for whatever reason all my devices will migrate to another one and remain there even after the down unit becomes operational. As far as the back haul, well even with it operating that unit still has a medium strength signal. I may end up directly wiring it to the system as a workaround. Personally I just don’t think the Deco system lives up to the hype.
Vi que esta marca ya sacó los mesh de wifi 7. Pero están bastante más caros que la 6a que probaste en este video. Los has visto?? Crees que valen la pena sus precio??
I'm jealous of your upload speed. I top that download does on my wifi 6e on my laptop. I consistently clock almost 1,200! I'd gladly cut that in half if I could get faster upload speeds than 42 mgbs. 😢
How does the IoT dedicated network work, some functions in Apple home require you phone to be on the same wi fi network to recognize you as being at home? For example, while not Apple home, my Denon stereo receiver won't let me control it through the app unless I am on the same network as it. Wouldn't an IoT network make this difficult?
As long as the network keeps running and does not crash, my wife is happy. Last time I tried to upgrade, it was a miserable experience. I ran to the store, picked up several AirPort towers and it has been bliss.
@@bushysowavvey good question. This was back when they were first discontinued. I needed to replace a 1st gen Time Capsule. My wife was working from home. So being proactive, I went for the Linksys Velop. My biggest mistake was deploying it immediately, since she needed access, and not making sure it was wife-friendly. The Velop’s were a disappointment and pulled them on the last possible day to return them to Amazon. Ran out to Best Buy and picked up 2 towers and 2 last gen Express units. Since then, my in laws went in home 5G, no longer wanted there’s and now there is a spare. Though I need to start considering an update, just for support. Did I mention, one of those Express is in my unheated garage and is amazing how it’s holding up.

Hey brother I got the same one and I have a 2000/2000 Fiber line n speeds are amazingggg on this wired n WiFi but only problem I had was my hue was acting up and did not connect well it kept saying no response on HomeKit all my HUE devices and segnaled lights …. Did you experience any similar problem? I return it n got the XE75 pro and everything working againg but back to caped speeds smh 😢
Como que está un poco desfasado el avance tecnológico aquí no?? Todavía faltan algunos años para que podamos aprovechar este wifi 7 y ya sacaron esto 😅
As a Network Engineer, I can tell you there is ZERO benefit to this. Your devices don’t even support it. I have been sitting on the eero wifi 7 as well for the past 2 weeks. All gimmicks.
Only problem is none of your older devices support WiFi 7.
Or any current mainstream devices
Useless

I'm still on Wi-Fi 5 with the Deco M4 mesh kit. I'd love to be able to install a wired backhaul.

I have WIFI 6

Google fiber is where it’s at. No outages. Been through thunderstorms and no speed drops or anything like that.

I’m still enjoying my Deco M5 with separate IoT network
Just curious if you’re using the TP link deco right now and if so, how is it performing with all your smart devices
Shane, I like the light behind on the wall also could I have more suggestions please

Apple Home uses your GPS location to determine your location, not the wifi network.

When did you get your AirPort towers since they’re discontinued now ?

What si the coverage area
How does it work is it a separate router or you connect it to the one you already have
It’s connected to the one you already have.
My WiFi 6 will do for now, looking to upgrade next year, but with stick with Unifi :D
Wifi 7 y que aparatos trae para eso ???
Ninguno.
Y para tu domótica? -1000 aparatos soportan wifi 7.
Te servirá de algo?
De nada.
Pointless and expensive right now. Devices still barely support WiFi 6, won't have any need 7 for many years.
Just ordered the be11000 pro
I just got the ex75 in the mail today. Comon. Lol
Is that an sfp port on the back 😮 😊
Yes

I have bootlegged email accounts for things like that.
Recommend any alternatives?
@@jeremymartinez6024ASUS historically doesn’t require an account to set up.
We suked in wifi 4 😂
Who needs 7 when most devices don’t even support 6E….
it will do mre for devices that dont support it rather than 6e though
Way too expensive for a average person! 1600euro for some WiFi? 😅
well the average person also doesnt need 22gb of download speed so yea.. no shit its expensive.

Nomas que no hay muchos dispositivos con eso aun apenas andan en el 6

No much. Not for mainstream
my shity mercusys mx60 for 26$ hits 870mbps
400 mbs is straight trash

By the way, you only get 400+mbps over wifi 7… I get over 600mbps on wifi6
Wifi 7 is NOT here. Just devices who claim to be wifi 7 before the standard is completed and ratified.
Do not buy yet..
But why? Soooo much overkill. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
My WiFi speeds are faster that yours with just a WiFi 6e router
i got 700mbps for a old wifi 5 router lol
I want it please number
