This is a true tribute to Commander Shepard, showing why so many fell in love with this series. This shows why I got a tattoo of this series, showing the love for Commander Shepherd and their crew. Well done
Once you start adding Mods to Legendary Edition (which surprisingly plays on low power hardware, I'm on a non gaming laptop and it runs perfectly) You can never go back, gives you many more tens of times of ways to do a trilogy run
I swear the Mass Effect trilogy is in a league of its own. Nothing else like it has ever been done to this extent and this successfully. Without a doubt my favorite game series of all time.
This is tremendous, thank you for making this. I’m currently replaying Mass effect trilogy legendary edition (Original Paragon run which is what I chose in my first ever playthroughs, Renegade run, and now just started doing a true paragon run where I only romance Liara) and this video really makes me look forward to this play through. The paragon control ending was a strong choice, and Shepard in that Onyx N7 Heavy Armor from Mass Effect 1 is iconic
Jesus H. Christ... the best Mass Effect video I've seen, to be honest. I didn't expect to get the chills down my spine and a tear in my eye, remembering all the comrades along the way... but this video did it. Perfectly. Amazing job!
I just finished the Mass Effect Trilogy for the first time a couple of days ago. I romanced Liara and did the Control ending, so this video really hit hard. Absolutely phenomenal what you've done here.
@dewaldnelson2709 yeah, wish for that too. Though if you want more bioware goodness, I suggest jumping into Dragon Age. It's just as good as Mass Effect imo.
Fantastic job. I loved how you drew many parallels to specific scenes and focused on the pain Shepard endured. Also, love how you displayed the hope Shepard inspires in the many and the hope Shepard's squad inspires in themselves. Amazing job. Keep up the fantastic work!
In my opinion, the only game, the perfectly balanced love, friendship and character development with the action and the story to create a perfect masterpiece. A little thing that I especially appreciate as a former Soldier with PTSD is showing the scars that war causes in Shepherd's nightmares. It's truly a perfect story.
Phenomenal work. Making tribute videos is easy, but making one with this kind of emotional impact can be damn hard to pull off. Selecting appropriate music is just one aspect. You've also got to have a deep understanding of the material you're working with and how it can mesh together to summarize the story, and you clearly know this franchise well. Thanks for this.
Flawless. Brought the tears that the series itself did. The last year since getting it on PS+ I've felt that emotional on a scale I hadn't for the decade before combined. To call it a phenomenal series still doesn't do it justice. Keelah Se'lai.
Always thought for some time the Illusive-Man is the picture of humanity. Well I suppose he was before he was indoctrinated in ME3. But after some time I realised Commander Shepherd is the picture of humanity, he never gave in to the enemy, always stayed focus and he got the job done no matter what. And we got to choose his history. Btw, loving the editing of the video as an example showing the collectors abducting the colonists from Horizon and editing the reporters (I ain’t remembering the name but she follows you like a puppy throughout the trilogy) audio mentioning about the people’s suffering, while Shepard “plays” politician.
i may have only checked this series out in the past 2 months but i feel like its been with me for so much longer ive been playing so many playthroughs with different choices, different playstyles, different characters, different love interests and it has made my love for this series, for these characters, for these races, for this fake galaxy grow so much these series has become my favorite video game series ever originally it was cyberpunk 2077 cause the chracters and the world felt so real but this series has made me feel alot more hell i think i love this series about as much as i love one piece my alltime favorite anime becuase both of those have character deaths that make me feel like i really just lost a loved one, it has missions for the crew ive grown to love that i would do for them 1000 times over curing the genophage for wrex, saving tali and legions people and finally bringing peace after hundreds of years and finally getting their homeworld back, and even finally at the end bringing the entire galaxy together to fight the enemy bigger then ourselves and showing them how much the galaxy needs each other for all those shepherds that lost their lives saving the galaxy thank you for your sacrifice and for all those shepherds that lived to finally see the enemy that tore so many of the friends we made along the way come to an end you took our best bro garrus's words to heart and you really gave em hell and lived to tell the tale no matter the playthough the decisions made along the way its a journey i dont ever think ill forget and will never want to im so thankful to finally be apart of this amazing series and im sad it took me so long but im heart the normandy crew will always be apart of me
underrated af bro 🥶 great job I haven't played any mass effect games, but this edit sure gave me reasons to finally learn of this lore. Bro this sheppard dude seems like the real deal.
Just finished playing Mass effect for the first time a few days ago in legendary edition. I wasn't too happy with the ending. I just wish for Shepard to have happy one. But this tribute reminds me the kind of person shepard is. RIP Commander
@@eodyn7 I picked Synthesis for my 1st ending (paragon path). i reload the last mission and picked Destroy. it such a cliffhanger, but there is hope. loved it when Tali didn't put his name on the Memorial wall. but his half synthetic and he wasn't in the pictures when the galaxy was rebuilding after the war. if Shepard survive that will be awesome. cant wait for the next Mass Effect.
@@starlord1637it was confirmed by the developers Shepard lives in the high EMS destroy ending. It's just that they did not want to focus on that aspect much so they left it vague for the player to imagine how Shepards life would be after.
I love every single one of you mass effect fans your all my unknown family together we sit and hope for our new born baby (ME4) to be great but in the mean time thank you all for loving this game as much as me without all of you I wouldn’t have more ME games to play and that’s a very sad world but it’s not that world thankfully
My favorite Shepard to play is a Paragon/Colonist/Sole Survivor profile, and that’s for a few reasons. That kind of Shepard is the most indomitable and unbreakable, because that Shepard went through so much and yet is still fighting for the greater good, still laughing behind the scenes and is still the most human he can be. He isn’t cynical or angry at the world, he doesn’t break his morals and he doesn’t lose who he is. And eventually, in the end, he does it right, and he does it his heroic way. That is the pinnacle of the indomitable human spirit.
Played the Legendary edition and went mostly Paragon in my play through. I made a few mistakes and I think I’ll go back again and do a renegade one. Regardless it’s a amazing series and I can’t wait to see the next one!
Damn just damn this video alone earned my sub fire video man this is how you represent mass effect and how fucking Awsome this trilogy is well done sir 🫡
The greatest hero in the galaxy. Be it a kind hearted paragon like superman or a heartless renegade like Guy Gardner, he is without a dought one of the greatest heroes in all of gaming
I was a ray of hope...in the most twisted sense of the expression: -I brought hope through manipulation, trickery and three backstabbings (sometimes with ulterior motives), as I sought not just to defeat the Reapers, but to make the galaxy evolve. I protected and peer pressured the Council in order to gain influence over the government, I supported the Hanar zealot in the hopes of starting a religious conflict to force all kinds of interactions, and I had Parasini and the other one shoot each other. I kept the Collector base. There is worse, but for the moment, I'll let you absorb this information; -I gambled with the galaxy's destiny by choosing either Control or Synthesis by having the Emotion shard of Javik integrated with me in the Reapers' infrastructure, so after the galaxy healed, these monstrosities would be defeated by the overwhelming emotions and memories contained in the shard. Even though I could survive the "Destroy" ending, I refused to choose it, not only because I would be judged for my actions, but also because the price would be too high to pay (the Krogans and synthetics would go extinct, and the galaxy's technological progress would be reversed), and all of my schemes and sacrifice would have been for nothing, reduced to purposeless suffering; -I saved only a few from their darkest selves (Garrus, Ashley, Mordin, Tali and Legion), encouraging everyone else's dark traits and teaching them to weaponize them; -But despite all of this wickedness, I saved the Ranchni, saved the data for a future Genophage cure after the Krogans redeem themselves, I brokered peace between the Geth and the Quarians, Maelon is alive, I saved Feros (though I did end the Asari's misery), among many other good things. I did care for the galaxy and my friends. I just had a different perspective of what they needed. And I know the Reapers will be defeated. Just on a later date.
Let's be honest. Mass Effect was grand. Even Andromeda, all pushed the boundary of world building. The possibility of it all. Everything. Even with the funky, rushed feeling of ME3 while it could have been absolutely HUGE in scope like the Crucible itself, the series itself is fine in all of its aspects. ME3 was my first Mass Effect, and getting Legendary Edition just made Mass Effect 3 even better for me, even with its lacking in some areas.
We know that the Mass Effect Trilogy doesn't have the best story or the best gameplay. But what is has, is the best character development in all of video games history. No game in the last 30 years give me the internity, the chills, the goosebumps and the feelings about my character and my teammates how it does the Mass Effect Trilogy. I love the mass effect universe and part of me is hoping Commander shepard returns. But if he dose what would be his enemy. Or will it be his child if you romanced liara and will liara be part of the Allaince . Or will they finally show shepherds mom when he was raised in Allaince ships. Or will it be shepherds own child trying to find out what realy happened to him.
So it uses the control ending. I’ve heard a LOT of people favor that ending but I always thought destroy was the best because control is like low key indoctrination and the illusive man’s plan? But this video of a true paragon basically ascending to godhood makes it sound pretty awesome
this game had the best story line in any game the year i spent living Shepard the love story's alone no game has never touched a master peace of a story they should have never killed Shepard off this story could have gone on forever Ashley was my
Clear example how main characters must be written, to remain forever in our memory.
Shepard is the living embodiment of the indomitable human spirit
He should go, probably
The reaper's thought it was a myth
That's the N7 🫡
amen and hell yeah
I swear no tv show or movie ever gives me the chills and emotion like the mass effect series. It will forever be one of the greatest masterpieces.
This was amazing! Shepard is an incredible character one I will never forget.
Nobody has inspired me more than Shepard, lol.
This is a true tribute to Commander Shepard, showing why so many fell in love with this series. This shows why I got a tattoo of this series, showing the love for Commander Shepherd and their crew. Well done
Mass effect is the only game I played more than 10 times and will continue to play over and over
Such a epic story!
Me too, I can't stop playing it
Once you start adding Mods to Legendary Edition (which surprisingly plays on low power hardware, I'm on a non gaming laptop and it runs perfectly) You can never go back, gives you many more tens of times of ways to do a trilogy run
U mean 10 times the game
This is too inspiring. Makes me play to feel those emotions again and go through the journey again and again and again.
Shepherd is how you write a beautiful lead. Paragon or Renegade you still fall in love with them. Mass Effect is my Star Wars
Shepard's greatest strength is his willpower, he never gives up
I swear the Mass Effect trilogy is in a league of its own. Nothing else like it has ever been done to this extent and this successfully. Without a doubt my favorite game series of all time.

This Is Not Only Shepard's Crew, It's Your Crew
Just done my 2nd playthrough now I'm going through trailers and GMVs. God to experience these games again, what I wouldn't give.
the "shepard... my friend" in ME2 from wrex just hits different
Thank you for a video, amazing edit. All of your Mass Effect content makes me emotional. It brings back memories, a strong ones.

Such a great tribute to my favorite series of all time. INCREDIBLE edit. This is my favorite ME vid on the citadel
Thank you for video.
Shepard in our memory
That was such an amazing tribute to the character of Commander Shepard!
this is by far the best mass effect video i have seen & i watch these kinda vids for fun my entire life.
This is outstanding. I'm very rarely commenting but after I shed some tears I had to say how great your video is. Nice work.
They don't make games and stories like this anymore. Always loved this series. Thank you for a beautiful tribute. o7
I finished the game yesterday he was an alive. Perfect Ending
Such a great tribute. Like the ending or not, this was such a great series and look forward to the next installment.
Will never forget the Commander. He is what a real soldier should be.
I always enjoy your Mass Effect videos. Well done.
He is The Shepard, and just like a real shepherd, he looks after the flock, protects them from threats, and kills those who mean them harm.

I remember when I stumbled on the game while I was scrolling through the demos on Xbox 360 and spotted the Vidoc for ME1 and I knew then I was hooked.
Such an unbelievably beautiful trilogy and among the few games I've played literally dozens of times in my barely almost 30 years of living

Still gives me hope to this day, when I'm down😢🥲❤️
dude holy fuck what a good edit I had chills the entire time
After the end of Mass Effect 3......I felt empty like I lost someone in my life (Shepard's death hurts) What a game Bioware 👏👏👏👏
Not if he survives 😉
Man i played the trilogy and it hits right in the feelings
So i am playing again for the hit again
