The basses on the guitar are pleasant enough, but the trebles are somewhat tinny when they are played loudly.

Dyens himself said that the piece: "has to be played with a lot of humour, a maximum of dynamics and a minimum of rubato". Not at all 'classico-seriously'!". I'll leave you to judge for yourself whether or not this performance realises the composer's wishes.
