There's also some dwelling arrows he missed. When you jump in 11:02 tl you can see them on a corpse hanging on the side. To get them, you have to jump onto the pillars like you see in the video, but before you jump to the other pillsr where the stones word key is, you must fall on the ledge on your end and follow it around through the left side (the ledge in 11:06, don't jump across like he does), until you see a clear paved path bellow you, drop down and grab those arrows.
I was utterly confused in this area man! I dont know wtf I was doing lighting this things up fighting spirits and then suddenly CRABS!!!?!? God Miyazaki must love crabs!

This dungeon is probably one of the biggest reasons I decided to play this game. I saw someone play it on stream and it was just so damn gorgeous. Not only that, but its a very impressive world they have built and with a rich story. Maybe they will have him publish books if we are lucky?

I was really happy roaming around Siofra River. I was a little late realizing about the obelisks but happy I figured it out myself. Fromsoft doesn't spoon feed information thus it makes a good feeling when you discover something. Really thanks for this I miss some other items.
I understand people's complaints about From games, but I'm right there with you. I personally love their approach to game design. From figuring out the worlds to figuring out the bosses, it's an honestly very rewarding experience once you get it down.
I love the exploration of this beautiful wild game and I missed 90% of this areas things on my first run through the terror. This walkthrough helped tremendously and was very clear. Thanks for the help, I'll be on the lookout for other videos

When i first been in river well, i thought like "im gonna come back later" just to forget it completely. And when i remembered that there was an underground city in the beginning, i go back for it but sadly i was too op for it. I was level 120 and literally one shot everything there. Dont skip it if you just started the game if you wanna really enjoy the map.
15:10 If instead of going up these stairs, you go left of them, there is a Ghost Glovewort 3 on the side of the building. And the lift at the top of the stairs takes you to an exit in Caelid if you're curious.

You missed an entire area of the Siofra River! Use the teleportation gate you passed on your left at the video’s 10:09 mark to take you up to the area at the top of the cliffs, above where the Golden Seed Tree is. There’s an optional boss battle (Dragonkin Soldier) and tons of loot located up there!
I completed it at around 65, hard times but I was never mauled by these ancestral dudes. Just died about 3 times (one of them because of the Dragonkin boss)
No problem at all, mate. Areas like this in a From game are super daunting, so I figured it would be helpful to 'map it out' so to speak. Good luck out there!

The cut is to the exact same spot. Character is in the same spot just a slightly different camera angle. Just a bad edit because I had to leave a note on screen. All you have to do is keep following the map border with the walls/cliffs/pillars on your left. Hug the wall and keep following it round.
I did the boss without the video but I’m confused as to what the reward was for beating it I thought I got a remembrance to like cash in at the finger lady but no so like was there any point? Or am I dumb Edit I’m just dumb you get a summon it’s those guys from around this area
In my head I designate a pack of enemies I'd like to aggro when I'm down here. Assassin's approach just makes sure I can run up in the faces of, and specifically aggro, the ones I want to kill without pulling something in from outside the pack.

Ancestral Spirits on the way to the merchant are kicking my ass. Wanna get to the merchant, but at this point I don’t have any runes to buy anything with anymore lol
@@rootgaming3456 I use a Razer Siren X Mini. It's a very middle of the road mic. You can make things sound 1000% better with any mic by running your voice through a program like Audacity. Add some compression, noise removal and equalisation. Makes things sound great. Definitely recommend Audacity; as a free program it's phenomenal.
do we have the upper side as well? On the first pillar, where you took all the archer and agro all the mobs around you, at the top there is a portal that teleport you up, more stuff there
You are spot on. In that area are a few things; namely a Dragonkin Soldier boss fight and Marika's Scarseal. Marika's Scarseal is going to raise all your caster stats by 3 (Mind, Faith, Intelligence and Arcane). It isn't in the video because I'm an idiot.

Thanks for taking the time to give me some annotations mate. The item I missed was a bundle of ten Deep Dwelling(?) Arrows. And as for the name, I've got nothing to say about that beyond my brain works in counter intuitive ways. I even knew that was the name, and that's how I'd written it in my script. That's not what came out of my mouth or ended up as the title. Glad it was helpful though bossman!

The shining horned headband? That's a later game piece beyond the intended purpose of this video. If that's the helmet you're talking about you'll first need access to Nokron, Eternal City.
You did awesome but you did miss a few items like the corpse with 10 arrows on it under the first part of the before you jump across to get the stonesword key.
The video was already bordering on twenty minutes, so I uploaded the bossfight itself as the next video. If I recall I do mention it at the end. I'll write it down here though to save you the trouble. Once you've lit all the pillars you approach the giant moose corpse. From there you simply touch it and that will take you straight to the boss fight. Just beat the boss and you get the ashes right away.
It's a From game. That's really all I can say about it. At this point I've played them for so long I expect obfuscation. It's just the way of the road, bud.
Well you forgot the dead body on one of the giant pillar near the Siofra River Site of Grace. There's also another item in the lower portion of the broken bridge with the spirit jump.

theres a teleporter in between the other two and if you take it you got to the upper level that you can see but cant access

There is a open flat area and some ruins next to a lake on the south side according to the map, does anyone know how to get there?
There is another full section to Sofria that you won't get until you've at least beat Radahn in the story.

So I accidentally scared the beetle and it vanished what do I do? Can I just come back later?
This works for any beetle: Quit out and then reload the area. When you load back in the beetle will return to whatever it's start position was.

It's the other end of a shortcut portal. If you take it though you miss out on some items first time around.
