Sheikha Moza attends official designation of a WCM-Q research group as a WHO Collaborating Center

شهدت صاحبة السمو حدثاً أقامته وايل كورنيل للطب في قطر بمناسبة اعتماد منظمة الصحة العالمية "مجموعةَ وبائيّاتِ الأمراض المُعدية في وايل كورنيل" مركزاً متعاوناً لمكافحة الأمراض المُعدية في إقليم شرق المتوسط. ستدعم المجموعة جهود المنظمة الإقليمية والعالمية لدعم القطاع الصحي من خلال توفير البحوث العلمية والاستشارات لبرامج الصحة العامة، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على التهاب الكبد الفيروسي، ومكافحة انتشار فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية / الإيدز، والتهابات الجهاز التناسلي، ووباء كوفيد-١٩.

Her Highness attended an event marking the official designation of a @weillcornellqatar research group as a WHO Collaborating Center covering the entire Eastern Mediterranean Region. The group will support WHO’s regional and global efforts to promote health and wellbeing by providing scientific research and expert advice to inform policy decisions and public health programs, with a special focus on viral hepatitis, and combating the spread of HIV/AIDS, reproductive tract infections, and #COVID19.⠀
