Take it from someone who's been a huge social drinker in his late teens all the way to his late 20's...
Its not worth all the hassle it requires. At some point its going to make you go, "this is starting to go in a pointless, repetitive loop. Now, All I'm looking for is the buzz but even that becomes desensitizing eventually".
I'm 35 now, haven't binge drunk since age 28, and life is so much clearer now. I'd look at others who drink, especially the hardcore ones and go, "man, I'm so glad I never went this far like that guy...Sheesh".
Find another passion. Mine was the bible after I got saved. Hit the gym. You'd be surprised what 1 to 2hrs/6 days a week of gym can do to you physically and mentally. Worry about stuff that actually matters-God, loved ones, the complete stranger you see everyday, etc etc.
You'd be surprised, you'd watch this kind of debate after years of staying away from alcohol(or whatever vices you got going on)and it wouldn't even phase you whenever it comes up.
    That means you've grown.

The only practical solution to this issue is tax, heavy taxation. Not the restaurants, hotel, and resorts but the Bangladeshi stores

@@yorobut3522 yup it’s going hurt the wallet for sure. I was thinking the extra tax can go toward programs, signs, classes that deter drinking excessively.

Totally. I lived in Bavaria, Germany which has many breweries, cheap beers, wines, liquor and for the most part, people handled their alcohol.

If this was the issue back then and its still an issue now ... Then there's nothing the government can do about it ...
