How did you determine where to put those holes without checking for the location of studs? Or is the mount hanging on just drywall?
You need to measure the wall distance first before marking the holes.It depend on your wall distance where to places the TV.(centre position or not).Sorry for not shares the measurement process in this video as reference.

En este video, el tamaño del televisor es de 50 pulgadas y la marca es Sharp
Los aumentos de plástico, se deben de colocar en las barras verticales. Para aumentar la distancia y poder colocar las conexiones. Ya que al ser una base muy sencilla no hay espacio suficiente para las conexiones traseras. Instalación incompleta.
Yo tengo la misma base, sin colocar todavía y viendo el vídeo me sobrarían 4 tornillos gruesos q vienen en la bolsa y dos arandelas.
Es necesario seguir el manual de instrucciones del producto para la instalación. El ajuste depende del tamaño del televisor.
Siga las instrucciones de funcionamiento del producto. Algunos productos se suministran con tornillos juntos.

Thanks. I bought the same brand from Walmart for $14. I paid to have both options: tilt and straight. Unfortunately, the tilting device had to be removed in order for the entire bar to fit, which defeats the purpose of purchase. You get what you paid for.

Wrong. Attach legs to back of tv first so you can then measure to the top of the tv and decide at what height to fix the bracket to the wall.

Depend on method and way of installation.If wrong drill hole and wall plug use may cause tv fells off.

Okay but not lock the TV angle to avoid accidently move.Recommended to apply screw for locking the tv bracket from falling down.

El último tornillo es para bloquear entre el soporte del televisor y el soporte de la pared, siga el paso 3 en el video. Puede consultar el tiempo del video 4:54 para el PASO 3 para ver el diagrama.
The last screw is to lock between tv bracket and wall bracket follow step 3 in video.You may refer video time 4:54 for STEP 3 for diagram.
