I tested it out, and it doesn't kill you., but yes, in a previous chapter, the bot does kill you. I think the crawl creature is either supposed to kill you or drag you out of the vent, but it's bugged, so it doesn't do anything right now. It's probably more likely that it's supposed to kill you.
That thing doesn't have a confirmed name, so it's called "crawling sentinel" or "crawling trap" but i guess you're mistaking it by the breakout bot which is Ombra🤓
