I agree on what you said about this new single of Spiritbox. For me, it is a good step up from the experiment of the last EP and reminds me quite a bit of Trust Fall from the early singles, in it's heavy cloudiness. I like it, too. System volume recording is terrible and Mic is clipping out at low volume. Your gain is probably too low on your mic and your computer processor is either maxing out your your software is bugging out.
Who cares because both overuse today's technology making their vocals sound robotic as hell. They are not even close to vocalists like Ann Wilson and Pat Benatar. Even at 70 years of age Pat Benatar sings way better than these pop divas, and female rock and metal vocalists, especially since these current female vocalists can't sing with their natural voice and need this robotic autotune crap to hit notes.
