I really don't think this wasn't intended. When seeing the S6 reworks I noticed how good they were in War, while Superior 6 mostly had crucible tags. So I think Scopely really intended to sell 2 teams with this release : one for crucible, the other for war (even among old players, a lot of them still have Sinister 6 with low gear).
You may be right! Another counter to NA this early feels weird though
After reading their passives, I decided to separate Superior into two separate teams with Sinister. Sinister 6 passives have 2 superior requirements for increased ability. I've got Oc, Kraven, Electro, Mysterio, and Shocker on one team, and Lizard, Slayer, Rino, Vulture, and Sloppy Goblin on the other. I don't have OG Goblin yet, so I'm working with what I've got.

I have a 41M TCP roster, been playing for several years, and have Mysterio at 15k power 😂
Sooooooo What I'm actually hearing is: I don't have to even worry about buying or grinding for some new characters other than the new Legendary. I can just boost steadily the 7y/7r Sin6 members that have been sitting at the bottom of my roster for YEARS and still be competitive? A+ Rework in my opinion!

Sister 6 was so strong back in the day. Reworked abilities and buffed stats they could be so fun again

@DorkyDadMSF I hope this catches on for other teams too. Like changing Dark Hunters into Midnight Suns, but also allow synergy with Magik and add Blade to the game. The theory crafting alone would be fun.
This is a good rework and how they should be, not some joke of a rework and forgotten again, give people a reason to actually go back and build the old teams
If you have more gold than training mats, stop farming the gold orb nodes, and start farming the training orb nodes.

Check the JSON to see if characters can't revive from Kraven's Ult? Or ask Tauna to do it since he's back in the Envoy program.
Could also test Green Goblin in the Sin6 team too, I dont think he would replace anyone and not worth breaking up Underworld either. But could be fun for those who already have him strong and are saving mats.
Bio Green Goblin and Swarm didn’t get any new buffs this patch because they already got reworked for Infestation and Underworld so just forget about them.
I was upgrading electro due to the villain mission chapter 7 tag requiring sinister six characters. Seeing this makes me so much happier.

Hey Dorky, can you do a similar video for crucible? After how disappointing your testing was in Crucible with the full Superior, I honestly am starting to wonder whether the full team you showed here with Electro, Mysterio, and Vulture is just the team to build and skip the new guys except Green Goblin because I think some of their passive effects will have big implications in Crucible too to fix the shortcomings with Superior you found. Plus War rewards are so much more impactful than the crucible rewards right now. Whats your thoughts on all this?
Well we know diamonds are coming to crucible so I think CC rewards are about to become very valuable! But yes when possible I’ll test! Getting them to start a CC on the playtest is tough though

I think they're gonna freak out and nerf this. No way they intended reworked S6 to become the apex war team.

for me i've to upgrade now only rino and electro to g16, the rest i'd put a bet with my ally that they all would got good reworks.
There is an easy way to stop s6 from beating NA, put NA on offense like the rest of us non-crazy ppl. You are just now enjoying gamma on offense, I have been having fun using gamma on offense for over a year. 😂

Have you tried a sin6/sup6 combo at all? Does it take all 3 old sin6 hard stop? No subbing in one or 2 superior 6?
Full Superior 6 are a decent Btier team. They will beat most things up to Infestation, New Avengers, Gamma, Deathseed, Darkhold (i think), Heroes for Hire, and Apoc / Skrull teams

So, for those of us that need to reserve resources and only want to build up one team, which 5 do you recommend? The pure war team, the pure CC team, or some kindof hybrid?
I’d build the pure Cc team. And just settle on the fact that Sup6 are a B tier war team similar to death seed!

Why are you mad about building old characters? I love that. Mine are already T Ford from when they were introduced years ago. All I Gotta do is put gold in training mats and her couple gear tears. I would rather do that then upgrade brand new characters personally

Depends on the type of opponents you see! T4s will help punch ups more than levels

Electro striker. Shocker I don’t think should be invested in!
Probably a different set is better for war defense
While the videos are great, it sucks watching these teams have an unrealistic power. For 99% of players they won’t have a 1.8 mil team. It be great if we could see something more realistic doing the punch ups we will actually be doing
Nah I get that. Playtest is super limited. But I always try to make sure I’m punching across at most. But prefer to punch up. Especially cause it’s playtest AND war practice.
When do the changes to s6 go live?

Old toons only better for war! So depending on your perferred mode build accordingly
