a taunt with healing seems very strong. The taunt monster won't die until the boss gets stronger. This way u can get a lot of damage in before the boss has a chance
Crates are for getiing equptment for the three heroes. They come in the tiers legendary, epic, rare and common with the same droprates like in Splinterlands. Equipment improves one of the stats of a hero, common and rare each +1, epic +2 and legendary +3 There is equipment specific for the hero type Ranger Bow + Range Quiver + Speed(!) Warrior Sword + Attack Shield + Armor Mage Wand + Magic attack Tome + Health and equipment which can used for all types Boots + Speed Gauntlets + Armor Leggins +Health What is really great is that you can combine your equipment like in Splinterlands to make it better, and you can "Reforge" unwanted Equipment to trade multiples of a tier plus a small fee into one copy of the next tier. Reforging is also the only possibilty to get gold foils Then there are enhancement bags, where you get Runes and Stones which - further improve stats - let you play cards without having the corresponding summoner - increaeses the mana per battle For htese you need a socket, which epic+ equipment has autmatically and otherwise costs Electrum, which you earn while battling. The Runees and Stones can be "Transmuted" similar to Reforge With transmuting you can get cards that allow gladius cards or give more Forgium rewards per battle
I've been enjoying the game. Started playing maybe a week now? Maybe a bit less. I did buy a few equipment packs and once I got an Epic I bought an enhancement pack as well. Even without getting any leaderboard positions (I haven't managed yet, but I think I might get one soon) I should be able to recoup that investment in about a month of playing. Obviously a lot faster if I manage to get some leaderboard bonuses. Even still, that's ballpark around $10 initial spending and at this point I could probably just continue to reinvest buying one pack per week maybe? I'm still so new at it that it's hard to put reliable numbers, but I like playing and it is earning me more crypto to play with so I'm happy!
Oh, and BTW, this is just a guess but maybe the 25% chance so dodge from the Flying ability gets applied after the speed differential is taken into account. In other words, your relative speed with the boss speed is figured out and the remaining chance left in there is reduced by 25%. Just a guess, but would make sense. Having a monster that could literally not be hit would basically break the game, so there must be something in the way it's calculated to prevent it from totaling 100% dodge chance.
