    First question is already wrong English. Should say "Can you work overtime?".

    • @Taoutes
      @Taoutes Год назад +12

      It's directly translated, so technically it's correct. It's grammatically strange in english to say it this way, but not wrong. To use this phrasing correctly would be very situational, such as to be a response.
      E.G. "My boss told me I need to hit more hours at work"
      **"Can't you work overtime?"**
      You also could use it to ask someone to work overtime, as is intended here, which would sound incorrect. Grammatically, it's not wrong to phrase it this way.

    • @YTReturnz
      @YTReturnz Год назад +6

      残響できる?would be your "can you work overtime"
      depends on the context, but 残業できないの?can sound like you're the boss saying to your employee something like "come on, can't you work overtime? neither of your coworkers are planning to go home early today"
