Just subscribed, not alot of channels that do 06-07 Accord upgrades 💯
Appreciate the support man!!!
I did a similar head unit on my Accord 🔥
i bought the same one from amazon, the daisata head unit once installed the climate controls dont come up, also they say that you can connect a hotspot but it never worked for me. returned to amazon and put in a xtrons much better now with wireless car play. for around 500 for the both of them the xtrons is wayy better!
Also clean accord, building mine similar to yours so hope it turns out clean.
Yea my climate controls didn't come on either until I did some research and you have to enable that feature within the settings
@@JR14Channel where in the settings did you find that? I see an option that’s days key light color and when I press it nothing happens
Does the xtrons have wireless CarPlay? I thought it only worked if it’s wired. If I’m wrong that would be nice. I was thinking of getting it but wanted wireless. Also, how is your xtrons holding up after 6+ months? Thanks
@@JR14Channeljust got a similar screen, what did you have to enable in setting? My climate controls don’t come up either
@@jaspreetgakhal9578 guess you have to research
I'm not sure what navigation system they use for Scout as I know Google Maps doesn't let you display directions in the widget form on the dash. Either way it looks like it works
How did the boss head unit hold up after a couple months of use?
Still have it in the car today and it’s functioning perfectly no issues no glitches or anything like that.
Still working? How about A/C?
Does anyone know why my ac/heat doesn’t work at is completely unresponsive?
BigBruh can I hook up amp is there a remote amp turn on if so what color
Hotspot for U tube? Or can you connect without it?
Need a hotspot to connect with the internet
Update hows the radio going
Any issue with radio reception? I can’t get any signal. I’ve changed the radio settings to US. I checked the antanae hook up. All connected. Any suggestions?
No I haven’t had any issues with the radio reception but I would suggest that you take the headunit back out and make sure that the radio antenna plug is fully plugged in.
Does it shut off with the ignition
Yes it does
I have a question. So I was gonna put a Bluetooth Adapter on the back of my radio in my 06 ex accord, and when I pull it out it has a blue plug instead of a white plug. What's the difference? In radios I mean, for mine to have a blue plug
Did you have issues with the unit ac control not changing modes ?
Any issues with the ac? Did it lose Freon ? Becuase I hear the ac always goes out when installing this u end up changing the whole ac system just to get cold air
Because there’s refrigerant in the climate controls lol dude please face palm yourself
@@Formless_Entity2069 oh u mad ? Lmao I’m glad I did that today for u 🤣💯❗️☝️
Mine quit working a month after install. After sending me 2 firmware updates it was still a brick. They requested $60 and for me to send it back on my own dime. Told me it would be 3-4 days processing. Sent it back 2.5 weeks ago and emailing for the last since last Friday with no response. Anyone else had a similar experience?
how do you get your magsafe battery charger to stay like that
How do you change the kph to MPH on the display.
Quick question, i have a 2007 accord and my radio dont work. Does that mean i have to replace the speakers as well?
No you just have to replace the radio do that first it’s cheaper, the radios after a while don’t work for those 07 Honda accords
@@beastwithredpill I have an 06 still works fine
Does your keyless entry still work
how is it a year later??
SAME. FOLLOWING
im considering getting the version for my 2016 GTI MK7 but worried about the mode select button not working. any idea if this would work? maybe getting one for the GTI..........?
I would say if you did want to upgrade the headunit in your GTI, that you use an OEM upgraded replacement. I upgraded mine with one of these check out the link.

@@JR14Channel definitely not big enough unless you get the $2500 one
I have a 2007 accord v6 6mt navi and steering wheel radio control and a sunroof. Basically an EX level trim loaded. On other brands of this type of retro they say that I cannot install because I am a navi car. Is that true for this product? I am specifically looking for a unit that can use my factory GPS/XM antenna and my in car microphone and steering wheel controls. The navigation on my unit is dated and the exclusion of bluetooth hands free is driving me up a wall. Current system has a mic for hands free navigation that would be a great repurpose as a phone mic if this model can do it. Thank you for your time.
Well I have heard that in the past because for the Navi OEM headunits, there are extra modules compared to the non Navi headunits. What I would do, is contact the company directly and see if you indeed can install these units into your specific vehicle.
@yuppy I have this same car. Did you end up making this change or no?
@@Bacano115 negative. I would rather have a working head unit with all of my peripheral devices working. That and the price at this time. I am not going to outlay capital without being absolutely sure it will work.
All the navigation and touchscreen interface is delivered by the "DVD drive" in the trunk, which is actually a full on computer. The microphone wiring is routed to the trunk and isn't accessible from the front. You could reuse it but you'd have to run new wiring to it. It is actually possible to add hdmi to that system if you want to, and a carplay kit exists albeit its very expensive.
What reverse camera did you use?
Does the parking sensor still work?
none of these cars have parking sensors unless you install aftermarket ones
@@elektrokinesis4150 they do have parking sensors from factories. Top spec EX has it and it's an optional extra on other specs
Should have spent it on fixing that BS headliner
That’s why you have to check all the videos because the very next video made was indeed the headliner. 2007 Honda Accord Headliner Replacement
