It's amazing to me that domesticated and wild animals KNOW what they need regarding mineral replacements and nutritional requirements. ! I wish I had that instinct instead of having to count on blood draws, meds, and expensive Dr. visits!

Why Lord, can’t spring & fall be longer then summer & winter?? 105 hr south of Sacramento today. 97 at frickin 8pm! Poor goats, I drink a few gal of water too so I don’t blame them, but your so good Shawn because you remember that washes out good stuff! Shawn, Your description of the shows is a good economic indicator to me. People aren't spending on much beyond needs. Of course, the heat dome probably isn't helping either.

It is so sad that craft shows are no longer true craft shows. I wish there was more restraint put in the applicants, but I also understand that the hosts want their spaces filled. I hope the heat wasn’t too awful.

I were to have 100+ today & tomorrow I stay indoors. That humidity messes with my breathing. I got off oxygen during days several months ago don't want it back cause of heat & humidity. We have an older home with an AC that needs to be replaced and well that is EXPENSIVE and we have to put in a window unit to help and it still gets warm. I understand.
@jennifer. Look up room AC units, also some window ones need Freon & your air will be so cold! Seriously unless you have 2 level, triple wide then 3 ac s should be in 60s! 🙏❤️

I feel for you working a festival in this heat!! Not only the physical hardship of being there for hours and hours but this many days into a heatwave does hit the attendance, which in turn hits the profits. Our little hometown today looked like a ghost town. I know logistics of operating a festival mean last minute changes would be impossible but what an awesome time for an indoor festival. I really think you would have crowds packing in just to have entertainment in air conditioning. You mentioned your hay guy a few videos back. Some dry hay may be beneficial to all the girls and especially any babies with loose poops. Alfalfa, even in the pellet form is a very "rich" food then all the fresh grass added may be compounding the problem for some of the goats. Maybe having some dry hay to nibble during the nighttime hours would balance their gut and firm up the scouring. Just a thought. Best wishes with your sales tomorrow!! Stay safe!!🙏❤

I hate that craft shows are dying too. I used to go every year with my grandma. We had so much fun. I’ve tried after she passed, but it’s so hard without her. It’s just no fun to go alone and my boys don’t care for them. 🥲. All that girly stuff. Now if it’s a car show, that’s another story 😂

Sadly shows are something most people can't afford to put out money on. Soaps are a popular item also a lot of companies out there. Wish you all the best though. I used to do craft shows, but got priced out. People don't want to pay for quality.
