It's a whole Animal Farm analogy which is a George Orwell book, so insanely well done. This guy just has range. I can't get tired of rewatching this. So glad you checked it out!
His suit represents the main character of A Clockwork Orange, a Stanley Kubrick cult classic. He said his buddies apartment building this is filmed in reminded him of Kubrick films.
Even without knowing the Animal Farm reference, you got the point about the hypocrisy of the "animals"--right after showing the 7 commandments on the wall, you can observe them violating one after the other, which feeds into Ren's later warning lyrics after he reaches the ground floor. Then he picks up his own drink and shows that he's not really any better than anyone else.
This. I was super impressed, actually. Plenty of people who read the book didn't pick up on that (or if they did, they didn't mention it in their reaction/plenty of commentors didn't mention it in their discussion under the video)
This is based around George Orwell’s book “Animal Farm”. You should Google the synopsis of the story and the video will make sense. (Well Worth the read if you haven’t already ….also Orwell’s “1984”) 🙂🙏💜✌️
It's built around animal farm, but then there are easter eggs throughout. The dogs playing cards, the swinging head, the shining king kong, lord of the rings, willy wonka, clockwork orange It's endless. Utterly brilliant.
That went about how I thought it would. Lol. Hopefully the craziness doesn’t deter you from checking out more of his music. “The Tale of Jenny and Screech (full version)” is a masterpiece of story telling. If you want something bar heavy “The Hunger” is really a great one to check out.
I didnt get it til I watched Knox Hills reaction, I missed the writing completely and Ive read Animal Farm twice so don't be too hard on yourself :) Please check out Ren doing The Tales of Jenny and Screech (full version), also his band The Big Push doing I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hiphop
Honestly I think you can take this as a fun flex. But the text on the wall is from Animal Farm. The basic premise of that book is that the animals didn't like the way the humans treated them and used up all the resources, so they had an uprising, ran off the farmer, the text were their commandments. But in the end the power corrupted the animals too and they started doing human things ie playing poker, etc. Very brief explanation.
The song referenced many books and or movies. Some others will mention what they are. Mainly it's based on the book Animal Farm, it's an old old book, most older people have read it school as required reading for class. I still have my old paper back book!
You’re in for a great ride with Ren. Homeboy produces all of his own beats too and is 100% independent. Next on your lists should be Genesis and then The Hunger for some dope ass hip hop. Then go back to his story stuff with the Tale of Jenny and Screech. I’m loving your reactions to this phenomenal artist! Keep it up
This is based off the book, The Animal Farm by George Orwell., Orange clockwork also. The animals took over the farm they lived at with a drunk mean farmer and his wife. The animals are against the humans. Thank God for English literature, we had to read the book.
I think, even without having read "Animal Farm", you really picked up on the theme of the video/song via context clues. You're a smart dude. Its been AWHILE since I read the book and it took me a few times to get it myself but you were on that. Tho, the "I need...........help" line from you cracked me up.
Definitely do more! You came into his range at a weird place. I feel like this and illest have to be taken in the context of his total book of music in order to be fully appreciated.
The passage you read out loud before the video (which is written on the wall in the video) was straight out of George Orwell's Animal Farm, which heavily influenced the video.
In Animal Farm , the animals revolt, buth with added power, the pigs become the new oppressors and hypocrits. The white suit cane and that last shot are right out of tbe movie Clockwork Orange. There is a theme of hypicrits beware.
Ren is for sure truly #Special If he gets a few young'uns to actually read Orwell (this whole thing, including the list on the wall, is Animal Farm), & a few of those to understand the eugenicist technocratic overlord-wannabe psychopaths who inject all sorts into the culture as social experimentation / manipulation thru think-tanks like Tavistock & certain authors, artists, etc.... then he's doing the Lord's work. #RENaissance ;) p.s. it's never a waste of time to watch the Kubrick movies, preferably paired with the excellent breakdowns Jay Dyer offers. ;)
@DonVon_ at ther very begining of the song watch the whiteboard behind Ren its the rules you read in the description, its the reference to George Orwell's Animal farm Book, tons of references to that, easter egg the famous painting of the dogs playing poker, the cage swinging in the kitchen by the pig has a head in it swinging back and forth. also a reference to george orwells 1984 book, and Ren dressed supposedly the farmer guy and also as george orwell.
i know what donvon means, and by NO MEANS am i making fun of him for not getting it - Animal Farm is a weird book, and not a lot of people have actually read it/know what it's about. BUT... there's something extremely funny about watching this video, and then very worriedly saying "i need... help".
The most dangerous bloodthirsty animal ever created is the one in the mirror. I think that Ren is saying that humans are the real savagery in this world.
Watch animal farm movie pigs takeover drunken farmers ,then kinda become like the drunken farmer. Ware clothes, drinking, they start walking on 2 legs and basically disregard all the other animals.
Dude!!! Paused it during the hand dance thing in the tub... I put down the keyboard to do the hand dance thing, then DENIED! ☹ Ok, at least I get another shot with the kitties on the washing machines, show off my moves. It's good, man. I never read Animal Farm either and I've read a lot... just never got interested in Orwell (I know, blasphemy).
I know everyone is saying it's an animal farm reference, and I'm sure insisting that you read the book... If you're as lazy as I am, there is a free audio book of it on RUclips 🤣🤣🤣
Refreshing to see a reactor admit when he doesn't get something rather than try to force some made up interpretation onto it, like bashing a square peg into a round hole. As others have said, it's based around George Orwells novel "Animal Farm" which itself was a critique of how Joe Stalin corrupted the ideology of communism. On a broader level, the whole thing points to humanities apparent inability to resist the temptations and corruptions that power brings.
"Old person. Don't know who they are" 😂 WOW. I could write a novel with everything that went over your head in this. You're not just missing things, it's like you don't have the base knowledge to understand it even when it's pointed out to you. Might want to switch it up and start reacting to a high school lit class 😂
I've tried to get through Animal Farm 3 times now but I keep falling asleep. It's an audiobook and the guy reading it has a voice like a sleeping pill. Plus I already know that communism is bad so it makes rediscovering what I already know extra dull. Animal Farm is a good book for youngsters, not for old men who saw the collapse of the Berlin Wall and who were standing on the bridge of a US warship when the Cold War ended.

And the beat boxing this opened with was a nod to Willy Wonka.

Bang on! 🙌🏻
This.

George Orwell. Animal Farm. Same guy who wrote 1984. Also a little Clockwork Orange
It's built around animal farm, but then there are easter eggs throughout. The dogs playing cards, the swinging head, the shining king kong, lord of the rings, willy wonka, clockwork orange It's endless. Utterly brilliant.

Very good summary. 👍
You could probably look up Knox Hill reaction.
He always helps me understand better

Friggen Brilliant!!! Based on George Orwells Animal Farm!!!
WOW!!!!!
BEYOND BRILLIANT!!!!

I love your fear of pigs lol

Animal Farm was required reading in my highschool. I assumed most had read the book but I was wrong.
It's about the book Animal Farm. Animals run the world
Tales of Jenny, Screech and Violet in that order and at once.
😂😂😂
Great reaction!
This song is so good!
The most dangerous bloodthirsty animal ever created is the one in the mirror. I think that Ren is saying that humans are the real savagery in this world.
This is one of my personal favs.:) 👏👏🔥🔥🙏
Willy Wonka takes you on Toad's psychotic Purge tour of Animal Farm and A Clockwork Orange before welcoming you to Jurassic Park
😂😅😂🤣 perfect summary! But...still such an epic song.
Watch animal farm movie pigs takeover drunken farmers ,then kinda become like the drunken farmer. Ware clothes, drinking, they start walking on 2 legs and basically disregard all the other animals.
Pretty much Chapter One of George Orwell’s book “Animal Farm”
Geordie Kieffer Swinger (Official Video)
Hopefully you get to 5he Band he is in called the Big Push
Dude!!! Paused it during the hand dance thing in the tub... I put down the keyboard to do the hand dance thing, then DENIED! ☹ Ok, at least I get another shot with the kitties on the washing machines, show off my moves.

I love this video. It makes me want to go party with some furries 🤪
I know everyone is saying it's an animal farm reference, and I'm sure insisting that you read the book... If you're as lazy as I am, there is a free audio book of it on RUclips 🤣🤣🤣
WOOT!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The opening commandments aren't going to mean much if you haven't read Animal Farm.
#Ren ❣️🔥💙

Musical genius
Animal Farm. Read it.

"Old person. Don't know who they are"

Feeling better now?
Not sure but perhaps these animals upon 2 feet are disguised as friends
Did you say 40 or 14 ??😊

Sony could have had him I'm glad they didn't
Sony did sign him, but they split amicably because he got too sick to tour or do any kind of music for a long time.
Please do money game 1 and 2 both videos not live
You have to be able to know what the f*** I book is to know what the f*** this song is.
