My father was a musician who traveled and toured. I remember him telling me about him. He said that he was one of the best upcoming artist he’d ever heard, and that he felt honored that he had the chance to do a show with him. Thank you for bringing back that era of a great musician. You did an awesome version of this song. You are a diamond in the rough, a light of gifted glittering shine. 😉🥰👍
I bought the 45 way back in 1962, helping to give Marty his biggest UK hit (most of his other US hits were covered by local artists here). The version I've just watched and listened to is superb and does full justice to it. Thanks for keeping his name alive as there was never a better voice than Marty's in country music.
