Well the living room and master bed stay pretty fresh since the sun doesn’t directly hit it until later afternoon (if it’s not cloudy). So having those large doors open is comfortable. I believe my bill was $150+ last month but I did use the AC quite a bit since still working on a fence to keep the dogs in the backyard and couldn’t leave the doors open.
@@alessandromorelli9412 exactly. You get what you pay for. So even though Costa Rica is more expensive it’s a nice country to live in overall for those reasons. But if someone thinks it’s too expensive for them then they can make sacrifices on those things and go somewhere else.

Yes Costa Rica is not a cheap country at all. Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia or Belize may be a more affordable place.
