    Great in depth on the Miele but I was expecting a side by side in depth comparison, whereas there is no same feature review of the Wolf.

    The bake setting only heating with the bottom element is so weird. I experienced this with a black and decker toaster oven that we were gifted. For the longest time I didn't know why "bake" only turned on the bottom element, it turns out the "toast" function turns on both elements. The more you know lol

      I feel like Thermador has the better cook-tops and Miele has the better ovens. Their built-in refrigerators are very similar because their both made in the same factory. As for the Dishwasher, I’d lean towards the Miele but the Bosch built Thermador dishwashers are pretty decent too!

      @@appliancesexplained Thank you so much for replying to my post! What are your thoughts on the Wolf ovens vs Miele?

    • @appliancesexplained
      @appliancesexplained 3 года назад +3

      @@dianakagan4506 Honestly you can’t go wrong with either. I think the Wolf ovens are a lot better looking but the Miele is probably the better of the two. Steam Assist, Auto Roast, Wireless Roast Probe, Soft Close (& Open), Catalyzer Adjustments, Intensive Bake and Clean Touch Stainless are all features that Miele offers over the Wolf Oven. The Wolf does offer lighter and quieter glide racks. You also get two glide racks versus one in the Miele. I really LOVE the pro style Wolf Oven’s Dial Control interface. Wolf’s Warranty is definitely better. I’d also suggest looking into who offers better local service. Both of those ovens are pretty reliable for today’s standards but if and when they require service, a competent service tech is worth his weight in gold. You don’t want to have to deal with multiple service visits because the tech can’t figure out how to resolve an issue.

    I’m confused. The 7000 series is already out in the market (at least here in Europe). They have the stainless steel look and also black, gray or white glass. They also have a fully handleless option. I just got my entire kitchen fitted with Miele appliances in obsidian black with no handles. It’s gorgeous!

    • @appliancesexplained
      @appliancesexplained 3 года назад +6

      We’re confused here as well. For some reason, Miele USA is almost always 1 or 2 generations behind.

      question henrique... do you bake with your 7000 series oven? are you happy? notable hotspots?

    • @hpxavier
      @hpxavier Год назад +3

      @@BitmapFrogs oh yes I do. Some people may say that most of the options may be gimmicks, but honestly, I have never been more satisfied with a home appliance. I cook perfect steamed rice every single time, the lasagna program is a game changer, proofing dough with a controlled humidity level every single time is a life saver, starting the oven when I leave work so it’s ready to go when I get home, these are some of the stuff I use on a weekly basis. The downsides, sometimes the touchscreen freezes for a few seconds, even after I updated it via wifi, it happens once or twice a month. I have the obsidian black version, it looks gorgeous but it is very prone to finger prints, so you gotta wipe it after every use. Ah, and a few more things…I’ve had it for 2 years and I was only asked to descale it last month, very low maintenance. If you can, get the plumbed-in version for extra comfort and ease of use.
      Going back to the maintenance aspect, every time you use any of the steam functions, once you power it off, the oven starts rinsing itself in order to keep the inner circuits clean, you can deactivate this function in the menu and manually launch the rinse cycle but I recommend keeping it on, it only takes about 11 minutes once it cools down. If you have any more questions, ask away!

      I LOVE the 24 inch Miele ovens. I’m pretty sure you can still roast up to a 20 pound bird in them. This demo was on the 30 inch oven and many of the features discussed are unique to it. I’ll try to do another video on the smaller oven.

      Well, I have a liebherr and before buying it I went to Miele and Bosch. I wanted the Bosch, by the way.
      I have to say Miele Fridges are a lot like Liebherr. Take away the branding and you would confuse the 2.
      Bosch are not remotely like Miele or Liebherr....
      Besides, I have seen stated in many places, including by Miele employees that they make the fridges in the same factory as Liebherr, not Thermador or any BSH factory. They say they are different but made in the same plant as Liebherr.
      Look at the handless units, the doors are exactly the same, then open it and look at the ventilation unit, totally the same and completely different from the Bosch.
      Miele, Bosch, Liebherr.... They are all great, pick the one you like better or the one you can get cheaper and don't worry about anything else.

    • @KitchenThingsHamilton
      @KitchenThingsHamilton Год назад

      Liebherr make the core of Miele fridges mainly the gas part and pipes. Miele then add their own electronics, lighting, furniture etc. However, Miele Mastercool fridges are a joint venture between Miele and Bosch. Just thought id clear this up.
