I have some absolutely beautiful 64 ds mine look like they were minted yesterday
My dad bought and stored 64 and 64D Lincoln cents for me in nearly BU UNC condition. Nice gesture, don’t you think?
Also I have some coinage that have 'foldovers' around the edges. Are those worth anything? Ty!!
I just discovered a 1965 where it looks like someone at the mint had been trying to hide or "erase" failed punches or errors, but accidentally left some exposed. You can obviously see tiny scratches specifically located only over where a previous punch or possibly a Doubled Die error existed. Only on this coin, some erase artist got lazy or distracted. It's very difficult to see at first, but once you make out one letter, the rest are easier to spot and the cover-up becomes more obvious.
It's very exciting to discover and explore the ideas surrounding such an incident like why, who and what lead to such an order or attempted scrubbing..
I’ve got a 64 with the D mint mark that is touching the 9 and it is in really good shape and color
I have 2 rolls of these 64ds,all look brand new,possibly from sets?
And you forgot to mention the excellent example of double die variety these have !

Have you tried other social media sites ? I know that there are coin pages on those sites that you can join and from there you meet people that sell and buy coins. Good luck to you.
You never said how to identify the S.M.S. Coin or what they may be worth. Would be great to know that information. I would really like to know...
he does tell you how to identify the S.M.S. coin... there is very little chance that you'll magically find it in a coin roll in circulation since they came as SMS..
Then why tell about a coin that no one can magically find. Kinda wasted a lot of time on here, and so much of missed opportunities to educate others.

They kept all pennys 95% copper until 1982 them changed which now u jus said but all wheat Pennie’s except steeel are the exact same

Grated coins on the other hand that are encased and plastic are going to have a higher value to them at auction
Also they were minted in san fransisco with no mint mark. So actually you don't really know if it was Philadelphia or San Francisco. So they're worth less or no? Just asking cuz I don't know.

I have a 1964 no mint mark in really good shape it's not the brown variety it's really a Beautiful Lincoln cent is it worth anything I would say it would possibly grade at a 67+ or a 68

I've got over a 100 of those 1964D plus just as many in other years.. ALL in almost MS RED TO AU RED.. AND ALL have the L.on the edge.. I don't understand why so many on RUclips say it's due to wear.. impossible !! They were made that way.. it's kinda offset a bit ! I got mine out of an old penny gumball machine. I only opened it just recently after owning it for 20 years. It's a 1930 model. But all pennies were from 1940 to 1967.. many DDO AND RPM . Was shocked ! Again if I have MS ones with L on rim.. it's not worm.. right ? They are for sell also.. pm if interested

A coin dealer is not going to pay you top dollar for that coin you have to get the coin graded and then put it up for auction

So I got a 61 all the way up to a 68 so far that have those initials on it is there a difference I even have a 73 that happens but the 74 and the 75 don't
