I just thought I’d say I really appreciate your reviews, I’ve been following since your osmo action vids so I have seen your growth. Really inspiring man
The gro pro looked like it handled the leds a bit better but I wonder how it looks compared to it when your just walking around the city or if you are washing your car at night/early morning. I wanna flim alot of driving content. What would you recommend?
I like the long battery life. How is the overheating though. That's always been the main concern with almost every camera...both action and mirrorless.
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema That is great actually. You should have mentioned that. 50 minutes is amazing! I can barely get 30-40min on GP12 before it decides to go go 6ft under.
Good day Jason! I searched the Internet for this information but without results. Can you tell us about using Glidecam Stabilizer with Follow Focus? For example, I will buy a Glidecam Stabilizer with weights at the bottom (mechanical), but how do I use manual lenses? If you install Follow Focus (electronic) on the lenses, then how do you turn the focus wheel? The hands hold the Glidecam Stabilizer. Please tell us if there are any ways to work independently (alone) with such equipment? I'm not talking about the manual Follow Focus - it's unrealistic to use it together with the mechanical Glidecam Stabilizer.
Any tips or guide for post editing to get a crisp coloring video like your carting one? Thanks for the video tho, I'll Subscribe for the gopro comparison btw ✌️
Will action 5 would be good enough to take night food videos, street food type. I feel there is no point in buying dji pocket 3 if action 5 can do atleast 60% of pocket 3. I am just waiting if anyone can compare pocket 3 to action 5 for night shots.
If you're walking the pocket 3 will stil be superior in lowlight. If you shoot more static ly, with low movement, the action 5 will come closer to the pocket 3. Still the pocket 3 has a bigger sensor, and therefore better low light performance. If you would. Be doing a lot of lowlight, the pocket 3 is the way to go.
A motorized gimbal will always be superior for stabilization in low light because digital image stabilization works best with higher shutter speeds. Also the slightly larger sensor on the Pocket 3 is so good for low light. I have been impressed so far in darker situations.
@@Kastor_X if you see videos of S24u low light is equally good with no jitters in decently street light. In my country they are selling for 900 dollars I just feel it's overpriced.
Looks like dji hit the sealing with action 4. Gopro still have superior quality and didn't shift colors with nd filters. Who cares about battery life, when footage looks bad?
@@wattieiscuteI think it is botting. The RUclips comments about this camera are insane compared to what is on screen. And “I didn’t get paid, but I want to keep getting free cameras” make these shady as hell.
Just wait, next year they'll release the Osmo Action 5 Pro Plus Ultra Mega Edition with a slightly bigger battery and a new color, and all the reviewers will like "OMG This is the best action camera ever! DJI has really outdone themselves this time!" Don't get me wrong, this camera looks pretty good, but this whole cycle of releasing a new product every year with minor improvements gets a little tiring.
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema Ah, the classic tech cycle. New product, rave reviews, rinse, repeat. It's like watching paint dry, but with more pixels. Just wait a few months, and someone will inevitably find a tiny flaw that's been conveniently overlooked by everyone else. It's a wonder these companies haven't figured out that people might actually appreciate a product that just works without needing constant upgrades.

Just got my Action 5 delivered 🙌
I’ve just purchased and started using the Osmo Action 5 Pro. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. THANK YOU DJI❤️!!!!
haha that was fun going to the races with you guys. great video jason!!

New drinking game - Have a shot every time Jason says “Actually”
came here to say the same, I'm hammered from those drinks, lol
That sounds like a good idea, actually.
at 10:24 Action 5 struggles with led lighting alot

Amazing vid as always!

Does this have product showcase kinda thing, if not fully, does give slight blur when showing something near the sensor

I let it run for about 50 mins and stopped it. I haven’t done a full in depth over heating test, only just a real world usage test

Can you select the Subject tracking or does it recognize it automatically?
Would be nice if you could select a subject . Hyperlapses would be amazing
Do you know if 30fps is 29,97fps with or without drop frame?

I Just Got the Action5 and Lookin forward to comparing them, but I compared my 4 to my GoPro12 but Still Love the Action Cam
I love the stability while you were driving 🚗
Is osmo 4 battery fits the 5 pro?
I think yes, based on the info from another review.
@@bilici I found the same 👋😊
Yes it does
Are the ND filters compatible from the Action 4 to the Action 5 Pro ?
looked at some other videos and it seems like the body is the exact same between 4 and 5, so they should fit.
A quick look at the DJI website and it lists the batteries as compatible with the 3, 4 and 5 Pro
Yes it does
A worthy GoPro competitor😂😂🤣🤣 your funny🤣😂
Compare with insta ace pro in low light please
Thanks for this video. Can the Action 5 Pro record to an external SSD ?

GoPro Killer?? It looks amazing!
Haha actually it is. Hero 13 is a joke 😂
In the low light videos, in my opinion Gopro looks to be performing better
ordered! coming tomorrow.
Worth it 🔥
No Timelapse settings?
@@marknosrati9128 there is Timelapse and hyperlapse
Yeah, a lot of pros use bitrates as low as this.😅
Thanks legend great review, really convinced me to buy a DjI instead of Go Pro 🙈
Why none of the reviewers talks about connection to Apple watch and gps for telemetry?
I didn’t know it could connect to the Apple Watch 😮

Finally!
Like I said on your previous post about the action 4. DJI is killing it. Go pro just need to retire
Cool 😮
It is 🎉
Everyone talks about winning over the GoPro when in reality they should compare it to the Ace Pro. But it's clear that it's not convenient...
It's no GoPro Hero 13 - No 12K sensor! No XLR ports! No Full HDMI Out! And it won't bring me a coffee!
Great video dude!
Next gen will bring a coffee maker I think 😂
Low light is a disappointment (ace pro is way better) and the skin tones look slightly better on the 4?! Otherwise 5 looks great.
I might have to compare them
10 bit. Upto 4 hours battery is very helpful. 1/1.3 looks less of fish eye.
In my opinion it is the best yet
ofc i buy the action 4 then 2 weeks later the action 5 comes out :/
o well
😂 After the improvements, hell to the NO
