  • Finally got to check out the new trail system at HMT called Braveheart! It's small, but pretty fun and there are some amazing views!
In this clip, my wife and I check out two black trails and one green. I think with a little more time, rain and ruts, these black trails will get interesting.
Either way, it's worth checking out this new system. I hear that they are going to expand the trails more each year. I plan to come back in April of '24 to explore more. I still have some GoPro footage to go through, some stay tuned for more.
    We're driving our 2021 Yamaha RMAX 1000 XT-R.

Looks like you had too much fun and ruined it for everyone else, they had to close it already. 😂. Maybe in the spring?
Question. What tire pressures do you run in front and back? Massive says don’t go below 20 psi on rears or you may break axles, but man it rides rough on rocky terrain even on full soft shock setting.

LOL! I hope we didn't ruin it for everyone! Crazy that it's closed now.... I run 14 PSI. Rides pretty well for the most part. I like to push the machine, so the front shocks are in medium and the backs are on hard.

@@BarnStangz Sounds like they just have some safety issues to work out. That’s more where i was thinking they should be. 14lb -15lb. Well i was at Rock Run and you couldn’t go too fast with that much air in the tires, at least comfortably. I mean hell it rode worse than my old pioneer 1000-5 and it rode like a stone wagon.

Oh yeah, try 13-14 and let me know. I feel like it was the perfect pressure for HMT. Worked pretty well, even in nasty Rockhouse!@@markflaugh2293

@@AustrianDeathMachine9 something about there's a few holes developing at the bottom of some switchbacks and the switchbacks were too short. People were having to put it in reverse to make a turn. So I guess some people were going too fast and then they would hit the switchbacks and it was causing issues.

@@willc3586 Ok, makes sense. Spring of 24 is a bit extreme though...

Thanks for watching! Yeah man, totally sucks! I can't believe it took so long to get it to open, only for it to get closed a few weeks later.

Yeah, holes formed and some of the trails were pretty tight and it would make passing hard. Sort of stupid, but I get it. The one switch back was REALLY tight to turn. We heard from the one rental lady that a machine rolled down hill from there. I also think that some booze was to blame too... @@AustrianDeathMachine9
