I didn’t really notice how small it was until you Compared it to your phone. Wow, that thing is tiny. Goes well too. handles really well and great speed 👍🏼🚗
Yeah it helps having something next to it like the phone as a reference, looks way bigger in your hand😆 Definitely a great little car though for sure. Thanks man!
I have the JJRC C8811 and the MJX 20208, both suffer from the delay. I fitted a 35A AM32 flashed ESC (+ separate BEC) and a little Radiolink receiver (with gyro) in each. Now they drive wonderful (with my own tramsmitter). I also use different batteries.. just secure the lipo on with a velcro strap around the chassi. Since the car does not bottom out, it will be fine. Other than the delay issue, I agree it is a nice little basher.
Nice! Yes I have done basically the same to mine except I used one of the new Hobbywing Mini24 esc and dumborc radio, amazing little car now👌 Video coming soon🙂
At least yours lasted a lot longer than my mjx version after only a few jumps. You had quite a few awkward landings on the rear wheel too. Im still waiting on those supposed replacement parts from them to finish my review. The MJX also suffers from the modular battery latch being loose, I had to apply tape to hold the battery from sliding off.
Yeah it seems to be strong but I was a little worried about the axles being plastic. The battery latch could be improved definitely, lucky the shell kinda keeps it somewhat in place😅 Hope you get your replacement parts soon🤞
Sorry about the late reply Jason. Yes the delay is quite annoying, it wasn't the cheapest car for what you get either so hopefully don't see any other issues popping up. And I think thread tape would work on the shock caps, probably smarter than gluing them😅 Thanks Jason!
A good servo and replace the saver with a solid horn, a hobby grade radio system and a GOOD quality esc to eliminate the need to program in high timing for the outrunner motor and it is now a dream with zero issues🤩 Working on the upgrade video at the moment, couple vids to upload before it but should be up but mid next week hopefully👍
I have no idea why you would have a setting dial on a RC controller where you can opt for the car to not stand still when you have not pulled the forward or reverse on the controller The only reason I can see for this setting is idle on a Nitrous car..
I think you mean axles. I understand your worry but they are holding up even on 3s now and I think the Arrma grom axles will fit the stock shafts which are also plastic but very strong👌
Looking forward to seeing it run around again after your little magic touch mate 😉😎👍🏻
Yep hopefully I can turn it into a nice responsive basher🤞
Thanks Michael🙂
amazing home circuit. thanks for the video
It is a fun little backyard setup.
Thanks for watching🙂
Good video. Nice looking little truck.
@timallen6035 thanks Tim!
Should be amazing on the track with a good system installed👌

Looks like a solid lil rig my brother
So far it seems pretty tough absolutely💪
More power may reveal some weaknesses but it's gotta be done🤪
Thanks mate!

Another cool little car. That delay and run on would be an issue. Could you use theead tape on the shock to try and seal it? Great around your track.
Sorry about the late reply Jason.

Dissapointing about the lag, hopefully an easy fix with a small esc 😁
Yeah that it man, it's a sweet platform so good electronics will make it very desirable😁
AKA MJX 20208, unforrunately the same problem that ails all the MJX's ails this one, handling and stability.

where is the traxxas maxx?
plastic hub for tires are quick turn off 😢
