But what we if we just say astagfirullah 100 times a day as stated in a hadith that prophet s.a.w used to ask forgiveness more than 70 times in a day . Also it is said that saying astagfirullah will make other things easy as well will it be considered as fake istighfar ? Plz answer i am now confused

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: If somebody recites this invocation (given below) during the day, and if he should die then, he will be from the people of Jannah. And if he recites it in the night, and if he should die on the same day, he will be from the people of Jannah.” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi)
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ وَأَبُوءُ إِلَيْكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَعْتَرِفُ بِذُنُوبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي إِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.
It's just *literally* today, i was keep repeating "astaghfirullah" but i know i didn't said it with my full heart. Not fully 'ikhlas' . Suddenly, an hours passed and i get this video on my RUclips explore. May Allah always protect us all. Amen🙏🏻🥺✨

I have been a Muslim for 7 years, Alhamdulilah. I have been taught so many things to say and do that is Islamic that I feel some is not coming from my heart, like when I say Istighfar. I know what it means, but I have been going through the motions after every prayer saying this word 99 times. I didn't feel the connection. I have done a few moments of quietly speaking to Allah, asking for forgiveness in my native tongue, English, saying my errors, wanting to hide some parts but then remembering Allah knows ALL and I can't leave out parts. He knows it all. I tell him all and ask for forgiveness, I cry like I have never cried before, I felt connections at those times. This video has made me see the difference between speaking from the tongue and speaking from the heart. Thank you. May Allah bless you. Ameen.

Sadly majority of muslims think praying 5 times a day and fasting in ramadan and not drinking alcohol etc. makes them perfect muslim (and deep inside even expect something from Allah in return), but Allah also created us so we learn about him so we understand him and love him, not just worship him like its a daily chore routine like most do, but out of purest form of love, this is what Allah wants and thats when you have succeeded
@@Earthiscreepy I am glad you said this. I have seen this in some Muslims, praying quickly or doing Zikr fast. I am slow and can’t be fast. I didn’t know what to think of it. I felt confused really. I thought to myself how can one do Zikr so fast ? It’s more than words.

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6405
Allaah is the Greatest, Most Great Subhaanahu wata'ala. Sharing this hadith might seem small simple thing in your own eyes or in the eyes of people. But to Almighty Allaah you are going to meet it. Subhaana llaah.
Ada empat ucapan yang paling disukai oleh Allah: (1) Subhanallah, (2) Alhamdulillah, (3) Laa ilaaha illallah, dan (4) Allahu Akbar. 🥰💞
Just today I was doing istigfaar and had doubts whether I was doing it right . And hours later this popped up and I feel a sense of relief for doing it the right way may Allah keep guiding all of us. Ameen .
it's important to me, i need to remember this every time, especially when my faith come down
It feels beautiful how we ask Allah forgiveness, how we talk to him. It calm me to know that Allah is always there for me and he always listens. No matter how much we do sins.
This came up when I am trying to hit the milestone of saying “Astaghfirullah va atubu ilaih” 40000 times. I currently repeated this more than 11000 times.
I was doing this casually while doing other things, watching movie, on the phone, at work… At this very moment also, I was doing the count and this came up. It is probably a message of Allah for me to stop doing Istighfar casually, but to describe my problems openly to him.
Also, thank you, Mr. Nouman Ali Khan. I have watched a lot of your videos and they helped me to strengthen my imaan.
You are right you should be sincere in confession before the Allah as shaikh described.
Having said that, the mere reciting of Astagfirullah has also very important role and it also has affect on person (go search IMAM AHMED BIN HANBAL AND ASTAGFAR on Google please).
So please don't confuse between two very different things (Astagfar by heart and Astagfar by tongue) rather than choosing between them you have to do both, as they have important role to play in your life.

I also would like to recommend people to recite Sayyidul Istighfar. I always read it together with its translation, since I don't understand Arabic. Reciting it always bring tears to my eyes, and yes it has to be done alone where nobody can see you.

Prophet Muhammed SAWS said whoever says this Dua'a once in the morning and die before evening *S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH* and whoever says this Dua'a once in the evening sincerely and dies before Morning *S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH*
Please make it a habit to recite everyday, once in the morning and once in the evening

The Dua'a

A person said "الله أكبر(ALLAHOAKBAR)" later he said "سُـبْـحَـانَ ٱلله(SÜBHANALLAH)" and after that he said "لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إنى كنت من الظالمين(la ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz zalimin)" in this he earned many many good deeds and that person is you♥

It's really wonderful how a moment of weakness is sooooo beautiful when you pray and talk with ALLAH it's so calming... I often wonder why is it that my heart feels so much at ease... Why is it like this tht my ears are not hearing anyone console but my mind and heart are at ease that my tears are flowing but I'm not feeling the terrible pain hurting anymore. And then it all just comes back to ALLAH when he said "indeed in the zikr of ALLAH do hearts find peace"

The ability to humble ourselves and admit our wrong is one of Allah's greatest blessing given to us. Especially in our generation where everyone want their right to do as they wish, everyone want their reasoning to be accepted. Everyone want to step into the gray area rather than agree to a black & white of "Right" & "Wrong".

There is nothing wrong with asking for forgiveness for sins committed without being even aware of it because our Prophet (PBUH) did it. And in this day and age of limitless liberalism all around us, we probably do it all the time. So, asking for Allah's forgiveness can be made into a zikr. There is nothing wrong with it at all :)
