This is a how to install BBR Heavy Duty Fork Springs and Damping Rods for the 2019 Yamaha TTR-110 #pitbike. Overall the job was not hard, but I would highly suggest locking down a bench vise before doing this job. This pitbike made a HUGE difference for any adult that is going to be riding a 110.

I followed the BBR instructions and it says with the spring out and fork tub fully compressed you should measure from top of the tub down 92mm. That’s where your oil is recommended to be. Not sure how many ounces it is though. Hope this helps someone.

    • @realmmfc

Damping rods add the height, the springs will only add the stiffness.

Hey man I’m trying to preload the standard spring with a few washers as a cheap way to get abit it extra stiffness. Is there a trick to getting the circlip out of the top of the shock? I’ve removed the black cap but I’m stuck as how to get the clip out and access to the spacer. Thanks a heap

    • @realmmfc

its pretty tough to get out but no tricks really. Just take the pressure off of the ring by pushing down and pry it out with a small screwdriver.

It started bogging the second you would throttle it and then the kick got stuck.
