What is interesting is that 25 years ago, a $5000 speaker was the least expensive model of a firms high end range. For example, I was looking at a pair of B&W 804s and they were about $5000.
Hello Enniol, yes, prices for speakers have changed, as with a lot of things. We never thought we'd be listening to a $750,000 speaker and subwoofer system, but the Suprema is off the charts! Those technologies now appear in more modestly priced products like Sonetto Gen 2
Hi Joe, Are there specific matching stands for the Sonetto II G2 speakers and can these speakers bolt to the speaker stands? What would be the model of the matching speaker stands? Thanks.
Hi Richard, yes, the dedicated stands for Sonetto G2 I and II are of aluminum, concrete and steel, very good looking. They are pictured in our thumbnail, and you can see them on our SKY site:skybygramophone.com/collections/sonus-faber/products/sonus-faber-sonetto-i-ii-g2-speaker-stand-black-each
Hello Bachphan (love your name!), it's tough to do a good sonic presentation, as we can't use most of our favorite demo material due to copyright issues, and we can't control the quality of the electronics in the laptops, tablets and cell phones that the content is reproduced through. But we hope you can visit us or your local Sonus faber dealer to give a listen 🙂
@@GramophoneMD I guess all these other Sonus Faber video playing some music samples are bordering copyrights. And watching them using a headphone one can have an idea of what the sound may be like when playing live.
When first owned the Sonetto II, I'm a bit disappointed of how they sound even with different amplifications matching, nothing works, yes excellent craftmanship, really they need to get rid of the leather I think, so in short I have no idea what's the technology about when it does not sound pleasant, indicate must be something wrong, either they're picky to amplifier, price is ok just slightly higher compare to some competitors...the direction that G2 going means something not done right at the first place...
Hello Wim, thanks for your comments, and we're sorry to hear that your Sonetto II G2 are not sounding like you had hoped. We are impressed with them so far. Assuming you bought them from us, we will gladly work to make you happy with another purchase if we cannot figure out what's wrong. Please reach out to us at ask@gramophone.com
Maybe sound better than older models but that white med range driver....... One of the most UGLY THING!!! They ever made!!!!!!! What are they tinkering flower power?.......😂
Hello Y-Lee, most of the time, the white driver will be covered by the grille. Sonus faber experimented with various dyes, but found that they were having an effect on the sound, and chose to leave it white
I love my G1 Sonetto 3’s. I bet the new ones sound amazing
Thanks Brent, we think you'll dig the upgrades when you hear them - and your original 3's are a pretty darn good sounding speaker, too :-)

That logo on the Sonetto at front, looks like a “tear off” film.
Hello Darth, funny! We hope you get to hear these soon
I wanna know where to get that chair.
And as always, Sonus Faber never fails to impress.
Hello JJ, you are right - Sf is on a roll! BTW I don't know where the chair comes from...

Beautiful
Thanks Ronald, they sure are
Are these closer to the original Sonettos or are the closer to the Olympica Novas?
Hi Enniol, great question - they in some ways are like the original Sonetto, but in the mids and highs, perhaps closer to the Nova products.
how about some sound sample when doing speakers review

@@GramophoneMD Thanks reply, I mean G1, G2 aha not sure, does not think the company has plan for full real wood veneer for normal citizen
@@wim1983 Got it and thanks 🙂
That white speaker doesn’t work for me.
Understood Prometheus - it's good that the grilles are nice looking and compact. In our listening they also didn't make much sonic difference, if any
aha it looks like piece of baby diaper :)))
