Actually, you're SUPER comfortable on camera, which makes you pretty much better than 80% of the people with videos on yt. Very instructive, not boring at all. Thanks!
Well even though half of these comments are insulting you, I think this is a great tutorial because even though I can solve the cube in about a minute, I want to solve it a more efficient way. Anyway, thank you for making this.
After learning Fridrich and Petrus, I got this idea to try solving the middle layer first, place all of the top/bottom layer edges on their respective sides, use OLL on the top and bottom, commute any misplaced corners to their correct sides, and then PLL the top and bottom layers resulting in a solved cube. While trying this I discovered 3x3x3 parity (well, not true parity, but very odd piece placement. Like that found on the Void cube.)
Should i wait until my cubesmith tiles come in before trying to learn this?, I know it won't make a diference but i have a black side and crappy stickers
Good video my friend, thank you for taking time to record and provide it. Where are you from? That sounds like a Canadian accent....don't shoot me if I'm wrong! Thanks again!
THANK YOU most helpful set of videos to learn Fridrich method. i like the way you explain it. now i am in the step where you learn 1-Look PLL and i just wonder if you are going to keep going and when could you make the next one because i don't understand other videos D:
if i can solve around 55 seconds with f2l how many seconds will oll and pll take off? i was also wondering what your opinion is a good enough time to go to competitions. your videos are great by the way. thanks
I really like the way he teaches! I've watched a few other videos, but I find so many of them confusing because I don't feel they thoroughly explain how to solve it? I don't know, I kind of feel like some of the other speed cubes in RUclips are just trying to impress others to show them that they can solve the cube, not actually teach how to solve it well...
The annotation at 0:27 reads: "New parts will be coming out semi-weekly" Also the description reads: "All the next parts will be made on a semi-weekly basis" And since the date of the video being uploaded was July 29th, 2009, you can infer from the annotation and description that the next video will be coming 1-2 weeks from date of first upload. Which means Intut F2L will be coming out between the 5th and 12th of August. And if I am not mistaken, today is the 3rd PST.
if the pieces aren't aligned easily, I just form the cross and do a u, u', or u2, making sure the pieces are in their respective spots before moving, like it Nakaji's 7.xx video, he does this, he forms the cross and then aligns the pieces.
i actually reckon the white cross is one of the hardest bits, i can solve the whole cube using beginners method in bout a minute and the cross takes about half of that time, this is because i actually have to look round the whole cube to find the parts however in the other steps i don't have to look around as much
Here is a beginning practice method, solve the cross, move 2 pieces out of place look and remember where they are then solve it blind, keep doing 2 until you have it down, then go for 3 then 4, however it's a bit of a cheat even with 4 because you planned it out from a solved cross, nevertheless it's a good exercise, once you have that down pat, start random 4 pieces blind cross solves, don't expect to be perfect at first but you will get there, good luck.
Thats perfect, now you don't need to watch 20 videos, now you can just watch one. Anyone except Ms. Fridrich teaching the fridrich method is copying someone else.
@XxXTheCuberXxX You probably wont be placing very well, so again you will be going more for the experience and such than to try to win the competition. I mean I currently average about 28seconds now and I still feel very slow and not ready at all for a competition...
No it isn't. For a few reasons. 1) Some cases take to many moves to be done intuitively at any decent speed. 2) Algorithms are usually much more effective and use fewer moves to get the same thing done. 3) While performing an algorithm, you can be looking ahead, where as in Intuitive you are forced to look at the two pieces to make sure you put them together correctly. Also, why do you post almost the same comment on every video I make, trying to claim I teach useless stuff?
@12croatia12 Personally I was able to solve the cube in about 1:45 using the beginner method, I then learned 2 look oll and pll about a week ago and am now getting times around 1:05-1:15 (also my times became much more consistent). But it will be different for everyone. As for competitions I have never been and probably wont go unless I can average like 10-15 seconds or less (based off some youtube videos I have seen), unless you just want to go for the experience.
I love people who spend time trying to make videos clear...HE IS ONE OF THEM.
So many people fail at teaching this method.
This is the first one that makes sense and gives good tips.
Actually, you're SUPER comfortable on camera, which makes you pretty much better than 80% of the people with videos on yt. Very instructive, not boring at all. Thanks!
this guy has done THE BEST tutorial on the fredrik method
Agreed.
i hate crazybadcuber.. His tutorial and attitude sucks so much.
Best Fridrich method tutorial on RUclips! Glad I found it!
Now This the way to teach!!!!!! Bro respect from india
Keep up the good work
You are the greatest teacher ever.
Im sad to see that the actually good youtubers have so little popularity compared to the horrible youtubers. keep up the good work monkeydude1313.
Well even though half of these comments are insulting you, I think this is a great tutorial because even though I can solve the cube in about a minute, I want to solve it a more efficient way.
Anyway, thank you for making this.
i use the PLL and OLL that you use with Oretga on the 2x2, which kind is that?
that edge flipping algorithm helped alot!!!!!!
@monkeydude1313 are your other parts out yet ?
Thanks man! It helps! Good tutorial!
Gotta need time to practice the cross and advanced planning prior on inspection
After learning Fridrich and Petrus, I got this idea to try solving the middle layer first, place all of the top/bottom layer edges on their respective sides, use OLL on the top and bottom, commute any misplaced corners to their correct sides, and then PLL the top and bottom layers resulting in a solved cube. While trying this I discovered 3x3x3 parity (well, not true parity, but very odd piece placement. Like that found on the Void cube.)
@KINolda95 For 2-look, you will usually need to do two algorithms for your OLL/PLL. For Full(1-look) you only have to perform one algorithm.
Very very clear and good fridrich method video...!!! thanx a lot dude .. i learned CFOP from u.. and my average is 1min...
Should i wait until my cubesmith tiles come in before trying to learn this?, I know it won't make a diference but i have a black side and crappy stickers
Very good Fridrich tutorials, what cube do you use ?
@monkeydude1313 help me with my cross, my cross takes about 15 seconds, which is really slow, and then i can to the rest in 10 seconds, help!
Just Amazing!!! please don't pay attention to the negative comments.
Thanks a lot! When f2l video comes out?
@9after9 No the past tense of the infinative verb to spell is spelt.
Thank you so much... best tutorial ever !!!
Hey, we have the same cube, but I've only had mine for a little over a week, and the stickers are peeling, and one of the whites fell off..
Prime means inverted r2 or l2 etc... Means u do it clockwise 2 times or if it is just r or l or f etc... Then it's just one time clockwise
Man just in this tutorial i learned what a small U was THANKS!
What is harder Intuitive F2L or Algorithmic F2L?
Good video my friend, thank you for taking time to record and provide it. Where are you from? That sounds like a Canadian accent....don't shoot me if I'm wrong! Thanks again!
do we always have start with the white?? plz reply
What kind of stickers are those, and where can I get them?
your cube looks beautiful :P
makes me jealous
but the blindfold method does help me alot
thx
bro so glad this randomly popped up on my feed. cubing was/is fun af lol
I wish you would finish this series. i know you may not have the time, but could you please try? i like it.
THANK YOU

Dude thank you so much for the vid. You really helped me a hole lot. Keep it up :)

how long did it take you to get the cross to the point you solve it so fast?
U are a genius with that cross trick
CAn you please make your f2l video now?

looking forward to all parts :)
Great video man! Subscribed!
Hey, I just bought one a week ago and the stickers are peeling off too.
What cube is that? is that an Edison?
what the..
whats the difference betwwen 2 look oll and 1 look oll. or 2look pll and 1 look pll..?
Is being crazy a good thing?
WHERE IS PART TWO TO THIS VIDEO??
At 5:28, you could do, D R L' F D2 R2 (I think) with blue on front and yellow on top.
Did you get new stickers for your cube?
Thanks! This is a great way to solve the Rubix cube!
is cross a main thing that makes you go faster?or your f2l?
Could you make more advanced tutorials? Like if i am around 15-20 seconds?
i actually reckon the white cross is one of the hardest bits, i can solve the whole cube using beginners method in bout a minute and the cross takes about half of that time, this is because i actually have to look round the whole cube to find the parts however in the other steps i don't have to look around as much
its been a few months and you didnt make any other vids yet.
C4U speedcube??
thanks so much. this helped me a lot. dont listen to all the haters
@9after9 & @Rowena97x "spelt" is the British version of "spelled" so either one is technically correct.
best tutorial!!! thanks a lot !
as you said at 6:26 or so, very good for a lot of crosses :)
YES!!! I THINK I FINALLY UNDERSTAND F2L!!!!!!
Doing it blindfolded is pretty hard I always forget the order in the middle
Very helpful man! Thanks!!

im stuck at 10-15 sec f2l.... completely intuitive with lots of R U R' U' and some beginner's method in it?
My method of learning to do the cross blindly was doing 2 edges blind first, then once I could do that easily, do 3 blindly, and so on.
@XxXTheCuberXxX You probably wont be placing very well, so again you will be going more for the experience and such than to try to win the competition. I mean I currently average about 28seconds now and I still feel very slow and not ready at all for a competition...
thank you now i can solve the cross blindfolded.
I like your voice :) !
What' s your PB at 3x3 ?
POST PART 2!
1look pll did you made that video already?
tahnks
your tutorials are very helpful though.
dude, your awesome subbed and liked
i like practicing fridrich on colour neutral on japanese colour scheme
The top and middle layers combined.
No it isn't. For a few reasons.

dude i saw your f2l vid 6 months ago now i average 23 sec with pb of 14.69,why can't u post a vid on advanced f2l + colour neutral
6 moves cross for the cross u talked about: blue on F
D' R' B' U2 R' L2 ^^
@monkeydude1313 well they still aren't there
No matter how hard I try, I cant solve the cross blindfolded :/ I guess I just have to keep trying.
Are those Scapegoats on your wall?
he clearly said cross of the Fridrich method and he just uploaded the f2l video go check it out
tnx monekydude1313 and also for your f2l tutorial.!
thanks this will be helpful :)
@monkeydude1313 You wrote 'spelled' rather than 'spelt' when commenting on someone's spelling.
all my friends were like
HOW THE HECK DO YOU DO THIS
and i was like
Ha... RUclips's so cool...
xP
Perhaps actually finish this, or make annotations, or even do a second part?
No you can start with every color you want.
2:15 what about u R u' R?
actually a much better one would be
D' R2 D2 R' F D2 much faster.
can u get a better one?
Love me or hate me, at least you recognize me.
Stick with intuitive, it's all that is necessary in my opinion.
thx dude i know how to solve rubix=)
also true
@JAK1234jr supermagical !
