Love all of those. I also would add the Black Shin they are my favorite right now. It has a beef broth packet to add and it's a flavor that is unmatched!
Looove Jin > Shin!!! Its got this simple but deep umami, and there's a nice pepperiness to the broth. It pairs REALLY well with tomatoes and eggs as add ins. My recipe: Stir fry some garlic and scallions/white part of green onions in sesame oil. Add chopped tomatoes, add some white (or black) pepper + a touch of tomato paste till they start breaking down a little. Add water, soup powder and boil your noodles normally with the tomatoes. Once its bubbling stir in beaten egg and wait till it sets. Then garnish with the green part of the scallions!! Serve with some kimchi ❤🍅
I have a question if you don't mind answering - does Jin ramen have a sweet undertone/after taste? I've noticed this undertone is quite common with quite a few Korean dishes. Ansung ramen has that undertone. I want to try Jin but I'm not a fan of sweet flavors in typically savory/umami foods which is why I'm asking
@@zanetaabekhe8479 No, not in my opinion! Jin I find is fully savoury, with a spicier/peppery-er broth than Shin. It's a little lighter IMO and less "heavy" and mushroomy than Shin Ramyun. I think it takes really well to add-ins, generally!
Love neoguri and chapagetti. I haven't heard of Jin; grew up on Shin but I'm gonna have to find Jin. Wanted to thank you for your content. I'm half Korean and this reminds me of my childhood; your relationship with your parents makes me smile.
neoguri's my fave! I love the noodle texture & seafood. My 2nd fave are Buckwheat Chilli Noodles. Even tho the sauce is a bit too sweet the springy noodles make up for it.
I just tried neoguri for the first time the other day. Usually a lot of Korean instant noodles are almost too spicy for me to enjoy but the neoguri was perfect for me 😅
@@KarolinaS-zt1kl Yes, first because I like noodles, second because I work long hours and sometimes they're a tasty fast option. Believe me I eat more than enough Italian cuisine too.
They look proper compared to the ones I usually find at the store. The Korean noodles that seem to be common have precooked noodles and don't really taste good. Imagine they would be a lot better being sold as dry noodles.
My fav jin ramyeon (because you can add extra toppings and stuffs it goes well with the seasoning. And shin ramyeon is my top fav goes well with raw eggs ❤
I need to try Jin Ramen. I can’t stand Chapagetti, though. I have to add so much shit to it in order to make it taste good and I’ve had black bean noodles at so many different restaurants and I’ve actually had really good Insta black bean noodles. I don’t remember the name of the brand but I cannot stand chapagetti, it doesn’t even taste like black bean noodles to me. It tastes medicinal for some reason, but I know it’s like super popular in Korea.
Cup Noodles are my favorite. But I am an American guy who used to be poor and also enjoyed the BASIC Ramon noodles that you had to actually put into boiling water. Your parents are awesome!
I'm going to have to look for these next time I'm at the import store. My go to at the nearest market only carries Buldak and Shin. (Personal favorites are the Buldak fire chicken ramen and the beef bone Shin). 😋
I recently tried the mild Jin Ramen and it was so good but I actually thought it was kinda spicy because I don’t have any spice tolerance. I don’t even dare to try something labeled spicy tbh 🥲😅
Your parents are so cute!
It's tru
They are all good at 1am when you just want something tasty and have a fridge full of random veg and odeng
My favourite thing is paldo black bean noodles with green onions and a fried egg on top. Maybe some sauteed normal onion added too😊
@@jayharvey8041 this sounds great but it’s beyond a one pot quickie. It’d be good for lunch.
Trueee
Not good to eat that late.
@@Ind_u.it’s good to eat when u are hungry.
Shin Ramyun and Jin Ramyun my favorite. ☺️
Love all of those. I also would add the Black Shin they are my favorite right now. It has a beef broth packet to add and it's a flavor that is unmatched!

My husband is strongly into Korean food right now so this video helps me a lot with buying ramen at our local Korean market ❤
I also prefer Jin ramyeon over the other one, but I eat the mild one 😅
Same😂
Jinsoon is so good with odeng scallion garlic and black pepper!!!
Thank you dear Koreans for these wonderful ramyun.. They're my comfort food❤
Dad : "They are all delicious." Dad is just a foodie. He's like whatever,😅 I eat em' all the same way.

Chapagetti, sometimes mixed with Neoguri and beef, and Shin Ramyen are my go to. Trying to quit Buldak.

Shin Black with a slice of American cheese, smoked meat, and thinly sliced white onion, nothing better 😋
Neoguri is a close second!
I just tried neoguri for the first time the other day. Usually a lot of Korean instant noodles are almost too spicy for me to enjoy but the neoguri was perfect for me 😅

Me, a Brit, living in Italy, proud to say I have multiple packs of their top 3 in my kitchen 😂 I eat them all the time.
Living in Italy and you eat instant noodles???? My inner Italian just died
@@KarolinaS-zt1kl Yes, first because I like noodles, second because I work long hours and sometimes they're a tasty fast option. Believe me I eat more than enough Italian cuisine too.
@@nicolakj I see, all clear 🙂😊
I would love to try most of these, but I'm allergic to shellfish. Shin, I've had & it is delicious!
i know your parents like 짜파게티 but if you can, try the 짜장면 from 진라면. i was surprised at how good it was. it was a good middle ground of both flavors!
Yes , I buy the Chapetti and Spicy seafood all the time. There is a Kimichi one that is so good.❤❤❤❤❤
