Hyperion Rising - A Universe Within (Original Song) (UNRELEASED GUITAR DEMO) (Recorded 2013)

Written and Recorded in 2013 with my primary group A Universe Within. This was a song written, arranged, and recorded by myself, (Guy/JJ) and the other guitarist in the band, Alex. It was going to be the 15+ minute long grand finale of the 2013 Nemesis album release, but we never got around to fully organizing it and finishing it.
This is the Guitar Demo that we put together for the rest of the band to develop their parts and finalize a written track for this title. Alex and I shared the guitar duties, both rhythm and lead, trading off and on with solos and such. I also played the various bass tracks on the song as well. The song features A LOT of riffs, time signature changes, complex writing, and more.
There was a deep conceptual thought process behind the writing of the song that we just never fully organized, as the overall Nemesis album was a very thorough concept album and again, this was originally the grand finale track for the album. We inevitably scrapped it and used our relaxing instrumental track, Perihelion, as the final track for the Nemsis album instead.
