Where I live December is at summer, so Christmas and New Year are always very hot, no snow, no sweaters XD We open the gifts at the night of 24/12 and it lasts till 4/5 in the morning of the next day, then we go to the sea while it's still night to swim and look at the stars until dawn (of course we stay close to the shore cause most of my relatives are actually drunk at that point :v). It's awesome ♥
