Our mask mandate in NC was lifted when they performed this and mask inside was optional and most likely all these band members were most likely vaccinated.
Please bring a new arrangement !! That Mello part that was added the other year is not it !!.. a classic that just needs to be revamped 🤷🏾♂️.. that Mello part needs about 16 - 20 Mello’s (in tune) not 9 . Euphonium holding on tho.
I didn't like when the Mello part was added, but it was more about what the Trombones weren't doing at the time. With what we have now this year's is probably my favorite version, just ahead of 2003. I like the idea of 20 mellos, but then we'd need a lot more bones, tubas, and trumpets to balance them. Which means the real issue is the switch from Baritones to Euphoniums. The Baris sounded good and Euphoniums (especially ours) are a lot to deal with, but there's no way I'd want to go back now.
@@Tony-zr1on the 2003 bgmm was nothing to be played with ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥.. A&T needs numbers you are right . 2003 was my freshmen year in the band. Lum brought that fire out and aggression. If A&T get numbers and some aggression they would smash everyone.
@@jayk3874 I was at A&T in 2003 also. We had so much fire. I mean when LUM hit us with that horn blowdown in Neck or even when we played 24's for the first time and he called it "that's how my Aggies roll". These folks have no idea...
BGMM always give me goosebumps on this song!! Especially when they take it up and the tubas and horns show off! 🤗
