I've run an SC15 for four years now. Great machine. Good to see they've made some improvements, like the work platform. Few pointers, the chains can come flying off the bar, and it is best to operate with the guards closed. Also, the chain on the conveyor is designed to hold the weight of the conveyor during operation.
Nice work guys. Lots to like about the on the ground operator station with that processor. Hands on control of the log feed and some re-split capability. Jason has some very nice toys. GNI
The thing that amazes me about processors is how many cuts they make before getting dull and I suspect it’s because they’re always only cutting wood when we’re cutting in the woods we probably don’t realize how often our chain hits the ground a little bit here and there
Ive always wondered what the time difference would be with the end result (product) using say a box wedge and doing it this way having to do re-splits. That would be an awesome video to make!
Burning wood for heat is still the best heat one can get. When it is winter and 30 below with 5 feet of snow and no power all you really have to keep you alive is wood heat you can stay warm cook on it and make hot coffee and melt snow to take a bath.
Good morning from Western North Carolina I am located East of the hardest hit area. Been without power for 5 days I'm ok my home did not get damaged and I have a generator, food and water I am Blessed. If you can donate to relief organizations, please do so. It is hard describe how widespread and extent of damage to WNC and East Tenn. Asheville NC, is getting most of the press but there are dozens of small towns that are destroyed. Many areas are without cell phone service, power, water and roads and bridges washed out. Supplies are being air lifted in by volunteers in many cases. Without power and roads damaged there is a shortage of gas also. Pray for the people effected and relief works, 1st responders especially local responder that may have lost their home and have been going at for almost a week now, the lineman working to restore power, National Guard, Law enforcement and thousands of other that helping in this rescue and recovery effort. Please pray for us.
I want an electric conveyor! My new wood yard has 3 110volt and one 220 volt station so Iv been thinking about ways to save $ on fuel and maintenance. Sweet processor too, Iv been watching the Timberwolf mpx for half the price that can handle long logs up to 24”
I would recommend checking out Ohio Wood Burner, Joe has the Japa 465 Pro with the Perfect split system. As Chris said, lots of slash and trash due to the splitter head knives but you get to set the piece sizes, EastonMade also has the box wedges, same issue and not on a processor though. Japa has the patent on that. 👍🏻
Those were some huge rounds in the beginning. Every time you guys show some nice ash, it breaks my heart. Ohio's is gone. There are still some standing, but they are all pith and not worth cutting. They might work in a boiler but when you put it in a splitter with a 4 way it just crumbles. I see you are starting to get a little of that. We have no solid ash left.
Man, I am not a fan of that 4way wedge on the Eastonmade ... It seems like it creates so much waste, while still requiring another split afterwards for at least 2 pieces. Call me crazy, but I'd much rather use the single wedge. Or maybe it's just my OCD talking 😆
I really feel this every load I bring in or is brought to me doesn't matter still has loads of wood in front of it to get to just keep brining it in and figuring it out later!
Still no sound or voice don’t know what’s going on, but just wanna let you know again when I watched your videos a while while back had sound I could hear you but now I can’t hear anything you’re talking about just have to read the words on the screen
It is YOUR device. Your balance or something is off. IT works fine on all of my devices...phone, TV, laptop and desktop computer. Try resetting your devices audio output.
What a productive wood yard he has. Thanks for showing his operation 👍👍👍
Yes, he has lots of stuff to do!
Thats bad ass! I love seeing new processors!! I like running them. You being with this guy, has helped and hes knowledgeable!
Yup, thanks!
Jason must have found a way around the safety switch on the Dyna door/shield😂 Those are some great machines! Nice video Sir Chris👍🏻👍🏻GNI
Maybe so! Thanks 👍
This just old enough to not have a safety switch
@@LoggerJason Gotcha! There a pain anyway! I learned that fast in the short time I ran a Dyna🤣

Machinery is definitely a help in any level of production. 😉👍
You got that right!
Nice setup, nice splitter
Thanks!
Hi Chris very nice Processor and Splitter love it ( Ty Ron
Thanks Ron!
I am also glad to see Scheib is back in action....I guess he was sick
Yup, Scheib is the man!
Good morning Chris and Jason, yes dry ash cuts hard have a great day

Yup, thanks!
G’morning Chris. Excellent carnàge ! Those machines are Dyna-Mite ! Sweeeeeeeeet.
GoodNightIrene
Good morning J J Walker!!
Good morning! 47F right now with a high of 66F 4 saws loaded up and ready to go it's going to be a good day.
Sounds great! Have a good day!
wow nice wood cutter and spliter
Glad you like it!
Hi Chris!!😀😀
The Dina is a pretty nice processor. But the Eastonmade 22 mb will literally eat it for lunch. LOL!!
Take care buddy!!😀💚
Logger Al
Yup, true but it should, 2x $$ as much.
That processor was nice but the Eastonmades bar speed comparatively really shines
Yup, 115 hp will do that!
Hi Jason and Chris happy splitting and resplitting😊
Hello Rick!
@@rickthelian2215 thanks Rick
He has so many machines hope he has a son or friend to give him a helping hand 😊
All that equipment, all that work and he got bored so he split some wood, 😂. I wish I had 25% of his drive and energy.
Yup, he has both!
Yup, always work to do in a wood yard!

Yes, also .404 chain makes a big difference!
Good morning
Hello!!!
Ive always wondered what the time difference would be with the end result (product) using say a box wedge and doing it this way having to do re-splits. That would be an awesome video to make!
We tried to re split with the box wedge the slash it creates is mountains to say the least.
Box wedges and wedges with lots of knives make up to 20% trash so you loose a lot of wood!
Yup, slash and trash!
THank you Chris for uploading these everyday......
Thanks for watching!
Hey Chris good Tuesday morning 🌄

Great point! I like everything that firewood involves!

@@InTheWoodyard a positive note plenty of free firewood.

@@InTheWoodyard Timberwolf has a 24’ gas conveyor that you can drive! Pretty sweet 😎
Now that's a man, real men wear gloves! 💪 Yes I'm God so I can judge 😂
Ha!
Nice. Is there a machine that can process wood and also split it small enough so you don’t have to resplit ??
Have a great day. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Yes if you are okay with lots of trash also...box wedges or wedges with lots of knives produce a high percentage of trash/slash.
Ok. Thanks.

Thanks for mentioning. 👋👋👍🏻👍🏻
They dyna is made in Millington Michigan an Chris you can tour the factory
Yup!
the sound from video only comes from one side of my laptop is there anyway to fix this issue, it only happens on your hand held camera
Yup, it was recorded in mono by accident for a few days...Fixed now for future videos.
You should have Jason come to your woodyard
He has been there and some day we will do a video there!
At this point, I think you could sell tickets for the opportunity to work for a day with Jason!👍💪
Maybe one day!
whats he do with all the scrap wood
Chips it and sells it.
Stay back 30 feet! Unless you have a camera XD Nice running machine!
You got that right!
Nice machine. Looks like the rounds are 14” and most pieces may need to be split again
They are! And yes!
@@sabbie7 we can run up to 22 on the dyna and we have done slightly bigger.

Yul, a lot of the ash we all get is tree service stuff (dead trees) so yup, some of it it is starting to get punky.
@@jameschandler2776 it’s a matter of time here before the ash are nothing but gone.
