Just behind Raffles Hotel has a Chicken Rice Street and Hainanese food. Further down is a Malay enclave - Haji Lane. Lots of interesting cafes and Muslim food. Enjoy!

Thank you for making this. It was very informative without being overly descriptive. I felt I didn't waste my time sitting through the whole video.
You should try E&O hotel in Penang ， the history of raffles hotel and E&O hotel was connected in 18xx, same owners back then. The eastern & oriental hotel offer same vintage vibes but much more worth it in terms of values.
Brilliant presentation, highly interesting to watch. We have been Raffles Hotel from Bangkok to Singapore on the Eastern and Oriental Express railway. Stopped in Penang and also took a Rickshaw for a race through the town, our driver won!
Great example of low-budget filmmaking. It’s remarkable; as you display the back bone of an artist. Nevertheless the immaculately shot/lit/framed, visually stunning with great painterly clip I am longing to see… Hmmm. Not quite..… to participate. Thank you !!

这绝对是我在RUclips看过最专业的新加坡旅游介绍了！绝对专业水准的！如果你还在新加坡 有时间可以探索一下新加坡的Park connectors 有很多线路coast to coast, rail corridor 绝对可以从另一个角度认识新加坡！

我當時都係住金沙同Raffles, Raffles 只係住左1晚，唔只版主所講既硬件同服務，連食物都係超班，下午茶香港只有四季酒店Lounge 可以同佢打平手，早餐超豐富，單點即煮既雞粥，係食過最好食既，真係回味到而家，後悔當時無住夠兩晚。
真汗颜身为土生土长的新加坡人如我都未必懂得比你了解得多，深深感受到你下足功夫去制作这一系列的‘‘ 从新出发’’，万分感谢有你的推介新加坡文化，我们欠你一个奖:)))很好奇你是从事那个行业的？

派公屋就去左牛頭角下村.
80後既我 當時去參觀虎豹別墅 以為去左荔園style好似...哈哈
Haw Par Villa back in its heydays was a must go for every Singaporean, it was a theme park complete with water slides and rides. That was in the 90s.
Raffles 呢間酒店房間完全就係我朋友喜歡嘅類型🏨之前佢生日係1881酒店staycation 已經好鍾意呢啲vintage 嘅設計❤️

Raffles的確與眾不同, 但價錢並非人人接受到, 其實可以住對面的hotel Fairmont Singapore, 對正Raffles Hotel, 從balcony就可以看到Raffles, 行幾步就到. 而且Fairmont與地鐵接通，非常方便而且性價比較高的五星酒店, just FYI.
用心之作，「從辛出發」拍攝過程真比渡假辛苦。
