- After an amazing time in Baguio, it was time to move on. We decided on travelling to Sagada but there was no other way than to go on a public bus.
It was cheap, but so much happened along the way that we started to question was it really worth it?

What separates you guys from other foreign vloggers that visited the Philippines is that you took the road less travelled which is the Northern Philippines. True, the south has the beautiful beaches and stuff, but the North has its own distinct appeal. It’s the part of the Philippines we Filipinos love yet most foreign visitors often overlook. Enjoy Baguio and Sagada 😊
Nothern part of the Philippines also have beautiful beaches and stuff, it is just that the southern part of the country is the most promoted one. That's why alot of foreign vloggers gets disappointed when they arrive there because it's full of foreign tourists.
Thank you we love a good adventure and are excited to share more of this beautiful country with you all 😍
I'm a local of Sagada and I want to appreciate you for deciding to travel all the way to the corners of the Cordillera region where Sagada is. Thank you for visiting our beautiful hometown. God bless you!🙏
Things happen for a reason beyond our control. Positivity makes things better. Experiences are priceless. Enjoy exploring and be safe 🙏. Baby got the BEST smile. 👍🌞🫶🇵🇭
Absolutely! And it was an experience in itself

BEST TOURIST SPOTS IN VIGAN CITY, ILOCOS SUR (Check it out in RUclips) Hello Nadia & Erfan after your visit in Sagada I highly recommend to proceed & explore Vigan City especially Calle Crisologo, Plaza Burgos, Baluarte Zoo & National Museum. You can take bus or van from Sagada or Baguio City going to Vigan City.
Vigan received a much-coveted recognition of being one of the six (6) UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Philippines and one of the New Seven Wonders Cities.
1. Discover Calle Crisologo, is Vigan's most popular tourist attractions & is the highlight of Vigan City tour. It is a well preserved cobblestoned streets that lined with ancestral houses dating back the Spanish colonization of the Philippines in the 16th century. A kalesa ride is good for an hour & can take you around Calle Crisologo & the rest of Vigan Heritage Village including the Vigan Cathedral & Plaza Burgos.
2. Visit National Museum of the Philippines. This is a series of museums adjacent to the Vigan Provincial Capitol & a treasure trove of memorabilia of two historical personalities: the martyr priest Padre Jose Burgos & former Philippine President Elpedio Quirino.
You can visit this by joining Vigan City tour.
3. See the Bantay Church Bell Tower. Nothing else can give you the best view of Vigan than Bantay Church Be Tower. The belfry is situated on a hill
overlooking the Bantay district in northeast Vigan. The watchtower served as a good vantage point for the natives of Ilocos to see approaching enemies during the Spanish reign & World War II.
4. Explore Plaza Burgos, located within a good walking distance from Plaza Salcedo, this plaza is named after Padre Jose Burgos, whose statue stands as a reminder of a priest's martyrdom in fighting Spanish regime.
5. Visit Vigan Mansions & Museums.
If you want to know what its like to be an ilustrado, the class of educated Filipinos during the Spaniards reign, you need to visit the famous mansions-turned-museums of Vigan; Arce Mansion, Syquia Mansion & Crisologo Museum.
6. See Animals at Baluarte Zoo. Not too far from the center of Vigan City, you'll find Baluarte Resort & Mini-Zoo sprawling on roughly 100 hectares of rolling plains & hills. The zoological park belongs to local politician Chavit Singson who use his property to share
his love for safari to the public.
7. Ride a Zipline at Ilocos Sur Adventure Zone. There's a five storey platform that you need to climb up before making your way to the zipline, which is about 400 meters long.
8. Take a Dip at Mindoro Beach. It is situated toward the west coast, it can be a good spot for watching sunsets.
9. Watch the Dancing Fountain Show at Plaza Salcedo. The park between Vigan Cathedral & the Provincial Capitol turns from a haven for picture taking at day to a stage of dancing lights at night that everyone can enjoy for free.
10. Learn About the Twin Bridge. Ilocos Sur's twin bridge, the Quirino Bridge and Banaoang Bridge, stand parallel to one another on a crossing along the grand Abra River.
11. Visit the Pagburnayan Jar Factory. One good thing about touring Vigan is that you get to learn a lot about its history, culture & way of life through the town's homegrown establishments.
You were able to experience what many of us have gone through. We Filipinos simply shrug our shoulders and consider those hindrances as stepping stones to a much better place. Keep smiling. 😏
Exactly. It’s just a part of life and the fun it throws at us.

Fun fact: Sayangan, which is located in Atok where you had your first stop, is the coldest town in the Philippines and one of the highest towns in the country. Temperatures there drop to around 3 degrees centigrade in January/February, so cold by Filipino standards that frost do occur sometimes. It hasn't snowed yet in the Philippines, but if it does, Sayangan would be the town to first experience it.🙂
Wow this is really interesting. Thanks for sharing 🥰

It is worthy to travel off to Sagad its just that you went there and scheduled to travel without considering the weather. Best time to visit is Summer.
Yes that’s true but we still loved it
I love how you guys traveled to the nothern part of country first. Usually vloggers after arriving in manila, they immediately travel to the southern part of the country which is popular with tourists because of boracay.
We really wanted to venture out to the roads less travelled. It’s a field of visions thing 😉 😅
@@FieldofVisions If you guys have more time, try checking out batanes which is considered the most beautiful province in the Philippines.
There's also a place called Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in bagac, bataan. The place is pretty much a recreation of what the Philippines look like hundreds of years ago. You can also book an accomodation in one of the old houses there.

Wow, what a long, horrible ride for your family guys. The non aircon bus is the worst bus to take, because this bus company has a history of poor maintenance and expect broken time while in route to your destination. Take the air-con bus the next time, but enjoy visiting the mountain province. Love watching your cool, calm baby boy. Stay safe and have fun and experience good scenery. God bless

This is a real Philippine experiemce. And if you want to try authentic Filipino food dont go in a fancy restaurant instead go in a small "carinderia" to get a authentic taste of that food that you want to try. Enjoy and stay safe.
Mabuhay!
We will try that for sure
Lovely couple,I wish you guys good LUCK always to travels around the Philippines this week in January of 2023.I am hoping more new videos are coming up soon this week in 2023❤❤❤

Happy adorable 💓 baby 👶
I thought you guys would stay longer in Baguio but I’m glad you went to Sagada. Hopefully you had a great time there
Thank you 😊 our mission was always to go to Sagada but Baguio was a cool little stop off to break up the journey. We couldn’t of done a direct bus from Manila … might of been too much with Zakariya 😒
Keep safe always on your journey!

Wow you guys are really taking the local Tranportation instead of renting a car :)
We do normally rent a car always, but we thought we try something different.. 🥰

Yup you’re right about that the bus ticket is very old school reminds me of bus tickets back in the 50s and 60s when I was still there I remember and I wished you could have taken a taxi 🚕 or a grab especially if you’ve a child traveling with you a transportation getting a flat tire or having other mechanical problem etc is not a good sign for everyone’s safety that’s the driver’s responsibility your life is in his hands ..

Take care and enjoy
Thank you 😊
Wow..amazing family travelling adventure in sagada mountain province,we really amazed you you did it with that cute boy, very difficult but huge the ending you made it..but ihope be careful always, you know many foreigners going there to experience the style of sagada or to adventuring the places there..like Hanging coffins in anything..we love you ihope you enjoy your adventure there..GOD BLESS YOU..🙏🙏🙏💓💓💓🇨🇿🇨🇿🇨🇿..always watching you..
Thank you so much ☺️
@@FieldofVisions your very welcome
Keep safe in travelling happy to see you enjoyed ❤️
Thank you! 😃
I am not sure about Manila and Luzon. But here in Davao and Mindanao, bus drivers will get a salary deduction or companies will get fined if they do not arrive on time. so even if they arrive a little earlier in a particular city, they hafta slow down to arrive just on the dot.
Cute baby boy…so lovely
Thank you 🙏🏽
Oh wow!!! You made it to Sagada!😍
And we’re so excited to show you what we got upto!
@@FieldofVisions Thank you for sharing! I was there during my college days, we didn't explore much though because we had some research activities to do but we enjoyed going around interviewing the folks!😁 I hope you'll have a memorable vacation there! Don't forget to have a taste of their persimmon, and enjoy the ☕☕!

What can we do, eh? Things out of our control🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Nice👍👍
this is why i buy ticket from a nice air conditioned bus ,more expensive, but well worthy its got a toilet too ,and you're not fanning yourself ,instead you might get very cold ... next time try not to go so cheap on your ride ,cause if you do ,you really going to get the worse experience riding a cheap bus, don't put your baby through that situation if you can avoid it ,just a friendly reminders,,have fun !😊by the way you guys are a wonderful couple and your baby is so adorable and enjoying everything never complain 🥰
Thank you so much. And I’m not sure if it was possible from Baguio. This was the only option we had I think. Thanks again 🥰
For more fun, visit the 100 islands located in Alaminos, Pangasinan, it will be worth the trip
Thank you ☺️

Many times I took the bus to Sagada. Never had this problem. I always had a great journey. It's your bad luck. I took the direct Sagada bus.
It could of been worse but everything was ok in the end. And that’s the main thing 🙏🏽
That is normal in the Philippines. In fact, even when we had our own transport, the car broke down too. But if you were to ask my opinion, I would not travel by bus with a baby that age. I would get my own private transportation.
