today no multicam in evmux. But you can add another guest/speaker as your second camera. And multicam feature is on the way. I believe it will be implemented very soon.
i've been watching evmux for a couple months now and began playing around with it a couple weeks ago. It is definitely a game changer. If they incorporate browser sources and provide the ability to load up a plugin like DroidCAM OBS, I'm all in.
Thanks for the video, Michael! My Streamyard sub will expire soon. I have been following closely the development of EvMux. They have added a ton of features in the last year, including shortcuts which can be activated with the Streamdeck, which is huge. I will be switching to EvMux once my Streamyard sub expires. (I think “mux” is pronounced like “bucks”). Cheers! Added later: it would be awesome if EvMux could have a Giveaway Tool.
I am shocked at the context of this video. The future of StreamYard is strong and customers will not be disappointed with all the updates StreamYard is creating.
@@WHATISTRUTHTV I re-newed my subscription to Streamyard shortly after it expired, mostly because the Giveaway Tool is very easy to use and reliable and ease of use of Streamyard. Wish it could stream at 60fps. I use OBS Studio for streams that have no giveaways; the 60fps stream looks much smoother than anything in Streamyard.
I think it's not "ee-vee-mewks" but "ee-vee-mucks." Mux was an abbreviation for multiplexing, which is not "mewltiplexing." Unless it comes from another language, that's my best guess.

Seems great but the max 2 hours for each stream(free version) makes it so me and most of my friends can't stream with it because in general we stream way more than 2 hours each stream..

Didn’t streamyard create Evmux also? Ever since Super Bowl Sunday Streamyard has been having static every time I stream. Just wondering if Evmux is having the same issue?
Michael Feyrer Jr. you're awesome 😁 Did any of these Melon/Streamyard/Restream or EVMux plan to support 4K and using if possible some type of AI codec to maximize the quality and minimize the bitrate needed by each participant joining each in 1080p? When you have 2 or 4 people on the screen and each can send in 1080p, then the full video should be able to be 4K 😄 RUclips and other platforms support 4K for the live streaming, right? It could perhaps also upscale quality for people who join on 720p webcam..
@Michael Feyrer Jr. does all his recent live streams in 4K 😆 I don't see why the Streamlabs/Streamyard/evmux wouldn't be able to support 4K via the browser.. 😄 It's easier also with multiple people on the screen as each 1080p and you can show 4 of them in 1080p to do a 4K livestream..@@TheCommentFactory
@@charbax I never said it was impossible I said you’re not going to see it on a large scale because majority of the viewers and streamers won’t push it or watch it in full 4K because of networks bottlenecking and buffering.
@@TheCommentFactory Actually I filmed interview with Nvidia 3 years ago they had amazing AI cloud technology to massively compress bitrate by something like 10x while keeping 4K quality, this especially is suitable for talking head interview kind of platforms, because the AI can adjust to only optimize bandwidth where mouth and face is moving and do it by AI instead of conventional codec.. Actually most TVs have been 4K for over 5-6 years now, and the share of video people watch on their TV is growing constantly. When I watch Streamlabs/Streamyard content on my TV I can definitely see the lack of quality and I think it could definitely benefit from supporting 4K. Actually we mostly use 1080p upload mode for each participant in group video chat streams, so as soon as you have 2 people in 1080p side by side, then the only way to preserve the full quality of 1080p + 1080p is for the platform to support and outpout a full 4K live stream.
