Bro when he named all the back-up and rookie qbs we've lost to, I officially gave up on Bowles. This amount of losses is indefensible with the amount of talent we've had on defense!!
Yep, the Dallas game was my tipping point. I’ve really wanted Bowles to succeed and I wish him well, but it’s time to see what this team can do with a leader who gets these players ready to attack, holds them accountable, makes the right in-game coaching decisions, and doesn’t gaslight the press when things are off. Bowles looked mostly despondent in Monday’s press conference and seemed to know that he’s now coaching on borrowed time. The only way the Glazers will retain him is if the Bucs at least make the NFC Championship. For me: irreconcilable differences - can’t afford to let Coen get away, even if this season ends with a SB victory, because most of the credit would rightly go to Coen anyhow.
The thing that hurts the most is this team has the ability and the talent to be really good, but their discipline and execution is lacking especially in important games. Is that on the coaching? Is that on the players? If this team could just cut out these bonehead errors in bad positions and bad timing I really believe we could challenge and beat anyone all the way to the bowl. Todd Bowles ain't to blame for everything and neither are the players, but one thing is for sure if the team is consistently poor in a certain area it's the coaches job to adjust or fix the problem. I've been a bucs fan for about 19 years now, since the cadillac williams and brian griese days and luckily I got to watch our legends play before they all retired (Brooks, Alstott, Barber, Rice etc). I've been watching long enough (It's a Bucs life lol) to pretty much know and feel when we are going to lose just based on the vibe of the game. After going down 10-0, Shepard dropping that 4th down easy pass, the penalties adding up I knew very fast that game last night was over lol. It was inevitable, I held out hope, but deep down I knew Dallas would beat us and I was right. Wouldn't even be surprised if next week we beat Carolina, Falcons lose to Washington and then we lose in week 18 to the Saints and the Falcons win to clinch the division and knock us out of the playoffs in the last week.
@@jdfoster23 I’m more concerned about how we’ll play against the panthers and saints. The falcons can be depended on to lose, but the Bucs have a habit of under-performing in “must wins” under Bowles.
It already has. This offense with even a mediocre pass defense isn’t getting picked apart by part time clipboard holders. Its been this bad since Brady was here and coach todd is not learning to do anything but be a stubborn liability.
Fire this coach and bring in someone who is serious about the gd game. Bowles is way too laid-back to get us a SB trophy. There have been games that i actually asked others whether rhe dude has a pulse.
The offense and defense play bad on both sides. WRs dropping the football and fumbling “ the defense did make a stop and gave the offense a chance to go down the field to to kick a field goal to possibly win the game “ and what happened “ the offense turn the ball back over to Dallas “ and they loss 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
You guys, this is crazy. I’m a Bengals fan. And like you all have waaaay more hopes in getting in the playoffs yet where is the spirit? You got this. You team is fire.🔥 it was just a bad game. It happens.
Also the play after the TO was a pass. So if you don't complete it for the TD, the clock stops. Even if you have to check it down, you'd still have time to run your plays. The TO should only be used on 3rd down if necessary. That way, there is less clock left for the Cowboys. Also that was their last TO, so if they had to settle for a FG they'd be rushing to get that operation set up with no timeout. And if Liam Coen didn't have things ready for that 2 minute drill, it's on the HC to manage the OC to prevent that.
1000% spot on. Glad you noticed that because I was too busy fuming and not paying attention to the game. Bowles miss manages his timeouts for sure. We need to scrap him for an offensive minded head coach.
@@JoshS05 The criticism from his Jets HC days was also timeouts/clock management, and notably, the lack of any improvement. 4 years there, 3 years here, still no improvement.
I think there has been enough proof that Todd Bowles is not the Head Coach to take the team to the next level. He has been involve in the draft enough to address the edge rush. In the free agency period nothing has been done to bring a veteran edge rusher. The offense even when the haven't play well they have score in many occasions to give the Bucs the lead. The defense can't find they way to stop the other team from scoring immediately. I got nothing against Bowles, but I think is time to give someone else a chance to be the Head Coach.
The defense did makes some stop” but when you got a kicker like Dallas who can kick the football from 58 yards like it’s nothing “ what can you do about that 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ and if you look at the stats it shows Dallas didn’t score but 3 points after halftime“ that all they scored “ why Tampa Bay offense was still struggling to move the football against Dallas defense.
You guys made some great points. Bowles has made some braindead calls throughout the season. That TO before the half reminded me of the Chiefs game. It's clear that Bowles has too much confidence in his defense and none in the offense which is mindboggling being that his defense is ranked bottom of the league in almost every category.
I'm trying bro, but realistically even if we make the playoffs as the 4th seed we are getting annihilated by the vikings or the packers or whoever, let's be real....plus it might mean we keep Bowles and let Coen walk to become a head coach somewhere else.
@@jdfoster23I mean if the defense plays better and we get our safeties back we could beat anyone . Vikings aren’t some juggernaut but they have solid weapons . packers aren’t invincible either . neither is Detroit and Philly . if we get to 10 wins I think we can beat anyone .
Todd Bowles needs to be fired. I’ve seen enough over the past three years to know that he has hit his ceiling. He’s a sub par coach who has been lucky enough to coach in the NFC south. His defensive scheme has its moments of effectiveness but for the most part, it leaves a lot left to be desired. He seems like a good dude but he brings little energy and doesn’t make great in game decisions. If I was Tampa, I would try and bring Vrabel in as HC and pay Liam Coen top dollar as OC. Anyways GO BUCS!
I’m pretty sure Vrabel and Licht have a solid relationship going back to their Patriots days. Also could you imagine Baker and Mike Vrabel together? Seems like a perfect match to me.
Agreed, the hype got too much to the players heads thinking they were gonna beat the banged up cowboys without trying, and we got taught a lesson not to underestimate anyone and you gotta execute and be disciplined to win against anyone no matter their record.
I like Todd and I am rooting for him, but he has not been a good Coach. His adjustments are made too little too late, clock management mistakes. He has to improve or it’s time for change. If Liam is the guy, I hope he can manage the team not just the offense
Disappointing season even if they go to the playoffs. Todd's a good guy, but as head coach, this team will always be viewed as mediocre. Time to retire. It was a good run.
These guys sucks! TB is not out there blowing coverages and not beating the man across from you. We are signing people of the streets and other teams practice squads. Name me two players on defense who are currently playing that would start on a top tier team outside of Vita? Don’t count AW
Hopefully Bowles will be gone. Long over due. Bucs haven't been a disciplined team since he took control. Too many gd flags for too long now. We had glimpses of good gameplay only to digress back to stupid penalties. Great teams are disciplined teams. Bowles is apparently incapable of impressing that fact on the Bucs. Hence, he's gotta go.🖐
Its been the same thing all season long. The linebacking corps has underwhelmed. Its literally a big hole in the middle of the defense- you know that place where every 2bit quartback has success against us.
PR is my favorite Bucs media online but you guys want Liam as the HC so badly. The Cowboys kicker made 4/4 field goals and 3/4 were 52 yds +. Yes we know Bowles defense is avg at best, they have no consistent outside pass rushers or quality ILBs outside David.Cowboys just wanted it more for their team and HC. Any Given Sunday guys!! Fire the Cannons, go Bucs!!!
Stop. Stop. You're opening rant. The offence lost this game. The defence did their job. They got off the field at the end of the game. That hasn't happened this season. They did it then the offence dropped the ball, literally! Defense can only do so much when the offence turns the ball over 3 times. Your bias is known.

Thanks for the shout out!! I've been a PR fan since the magazine days!

Outside of Vita Vea, who’s a pro bowler or better yet an all pro on defense. I’ll wait

So why did the cowboys defense prioritize Mike Evans but Bowles refused to clamp down on ceedee?
Yes so FIRE BOWLES

Defense has been the Bucs problem all year when you let QB’s that aren’t starters and rookies embarrass you all game. Defense sucks
We need to fire Bowles and make Liam hc and I like salah for dc.

Defense should not let Cooper Rush get into FG range. He was passing short passes like running the 49er west coast offense from 1994

Yes. The defensive coordinator needs to be let go. We know who that is.
This was the worst loss of the season, at the worst time, we have to pray the Falcons lose to the commanders, and hope we can somehow win 2 more games
