I hope John Krasinski got the proper medical attention for his back after carrying the emotional weight of the show.
Even with his happy tears...when Jim cries, I cry.
Steve was just as good if not better.
I would have added Michael’s loneliness, Michael and Holly breaking up, Angela crying for Dwight… wow, this show was full of heart-breaking moments alongside the goofiness! Such a masterpiece 🖤
Michael's loneliness was highlighted in his video clip as a child. But yeah, this was a dramatic comedy in many respects, not just a comedy.
See when Pam said “I’m really sorry if you misinterpreted things.” She really had Jim messed ALL the way up ⬆️
I don't think she'd admitted to herself at that point that she was in love with him too, so she wasn't trying to manipulate him, that's just how she processed that moment.
I thought that was bad but she followed it up with "that's probably my fault" meaning she acknowledged her part in it. don't think she had any ill intent, just unfortunate phrasing
@@trailblazer225 Yeah, she was trying to be loyal to Roy at that point, as she was still with him.
Which episode is this?
This is framed like it's an extreme anomaly, but the show often was serious in the first 3 years or so, only later did it flanderize everybody and become a caricature
You're confusing flanderized with "opposite of serious"
agreed
@@purplewine7362 no. This show had a lot of flanderizing (is that a word?). I mean Kevin at the end was just about completely mentally retarded. All characters became more and more characatures throughout the series. But every series has that. It's the reason gervais chose to keep the UK version short.
Please. You say that like it's The Simpsons. The Office was nowhere NEAR like that; it stayed great throughout its duration, and even while it felt different after Steve Carell left, it still FELT like The Office. To say anything like it "flanderized everybody and became a caricature" is honestly a BIG disservice to the show.
To me, it's almost ironic the guy who pranks so much on the show is also the one with the most emotional impact on the show. Thank you, Tuna!
We all need a guy like you--one who knows how to have fun and when to care about people. :)
In early season he was the sad clown, for sure. He’d joke/prank at work to distract/cope with the fact that he was unhappy with his professional and love life.
Jim is really a bland boring bully
@@nobody6032 lol nice bait it worked really well
@@Akkodha. oh. Lol. That's adorable
Saddest part is Dwight not being able to hug Jim
From what I remember, that wasn't scripted - that was Rainn just doing it in the moment.
One of the most poignant moments in the show.
Toby’s adorable innocent kid pointing out that Michael’s life is incomplete is both sweet and incredibly sad at the same time I love it
7:53 Ryan in the back trying to talk to Pam in Morse code😂
Underrated comment 😂😂😂😂😂
Also reminds me of that Prank on Dwight. 😂😂😂
I remember watching this deleted scene where Michael finds some alone time with Astrid and promises that he won't be an absentee father, unlike his dad. I get that they deleted it because they had plans with Holly, but that was such an emotional scene.
Nicely done. Great editing, Michael and Jim in Goodbye Michael actually brought a tear to my eye when it was aired. Young Michael in Take Your Daughter’s to Work Day was the first time I actually liked Michael and it was almost heartbreaking.
This is Comedy Bites. Why am I crying?
“Even I have a gf” no way 💀
One of the highlights of this show to me was Pam chasing Michael to the Airport to say goodbye. It showed the utmost love and respect she had for him regardless of all he put her through. Makes me shed a tear all the time lol
Too good for a show. At first sight, a goofy comedy, watch closer and you'll se great stories with complex characters involved.
Only video which I have liked ever..The office ..what an era..👍
"I'm sorry I misinterpreted.. uh.. our friendship."
I watched "The Office" religiously from the beginning but even after rewatching hundreds of clips, I can only now admit that I said that line to someone without even meaning to.
5:36 LMAO ok that was legitimately hilarious tho
If they made an episode and does a soap opera joke I add that to my favorites
Omg. Can't stop crying.
Toby's baby girl delivers 2 arrows straight to Michael's ❤. Toby wins this one😂😂😂😂
imagine showing this to a person who hasn't watched or even heard of the office
King-that voice the herreific voice
John is fantastic 👏
5:43 Oh Michael, I'd be your friend FOREVER
6:16 this bit is sooo sad
this is gold for midwest emo but its the office clips
Where my guitar players at
Michael in Cruse ship is underrated
Oh great! Now I'm tear bending!
Do *The Office but it’s a sitcom with a live studio audience* next.
Oh God no
At 5:38 i switched to the video Michael Scott Loneliness and thought i was tripping
This was really heavy, not in a bad way... I love the Office but if you take the funny out is quite impressive how depressive it can be
Can’t believe they didn’t include the Christmas episode where Michael called out Holly in front of everyone
8:03-9:22 aaah it super all over again
What about when jim and Pam fought because of ceces recital
That one's rough
Exactly! That scene is the most real scene for me, however for some reason, it never makes it on these youtube channels, even in the sad compilations! I wonder are they not supposed to show that scene or something?😏
John krinoseski and pajama jam pam
❤
💜
terribly out of order, but still...Waaaaaah (insert crying emoji here)
why can't we have acting this good as an intro to a prono scene? Some ambitious, talented, beautiful people need to step up to the plate.
Don't do that, come on...
Na Nach
Misinterpreting our friendship. Nice.
It's missing the right melancholic music. I'd enjoy it even more
Angela is evil
I will never watch The Office because so many people recommended me. Мany people will recommend me make me hate.Cheers and Frasier are the best and nothing I need other than that. Cheers and Frasier have nearly 40 Emmys, but Friends and The Office only need one hand to count their Emmys. Critical acclaim and popularity among public are different matters. Cheers and Frasier have referenced so many educational literature and highbrow cultural references most of the viewers do not get. That impressed the judges of Emmys, perhaps.
That's crazy, but no one asked tho
The creator of The office says Cheers is the best comedy. He likes Cheers more than The office. So, he decide to make a bar-base sitcom called "Abbey", which only lasted for a season. Then, he started working with Ted Danson and made so many references from Cheers in The Good Place. Nobody likes The Office more than The Bar. People want to leave the office and to spend more time in the bar in real life. Never watched office, but his passion for Cheers is uncanny.
Now I kinda get it why some fans doesnt like Pam. Some of these scene kinda shows she's kinda selfish before she and jim became a couple
Tbh every time I rewatch the show, my views on some of the characters change. This time I strongly disliked Pam towards the end, disliked Phyllis throughout, and quite liked Angela (minus the cheating)
Pam is the best example of a terrible, down dragging woman, hated her and Jim's is an idiot for letting Karen go. Way better catch
pam is so much better than karen
Never, is not about appearance but their support and way of being. Pam was a teaser and later ouh you just ma friend, terrible.
@@vivianseaton5757 tf are you smoking you fruit loop?
@@raulvarela6594 Lmao you hate Pam because you got rejected.
@@filiperocha4025 nah, can relate with so many bros with this kind of chick. I can see you are just a simpleton based how you defend her haha
