Hey - I'm 63 and I first played Panzer Blitz in 72. I like what I see and purchased the intro game before I was a quarter of the way into your presentation. If all goes well I may purchase the whole suite of missions and scenarios. Thanks for doing this.
@@WazGamer I didn't stumble onto the game until 72. I lost it over the years but purchased a copy on eBay a few years ago. My second game was France 1940. I recently invested a number of hours and divided up the corps units into their respective armies. It was an educational exercise and added some insight into the campaign.
Great video. Just bought this yesterday and you have helped a great deal. I am in your boat with being an old board gamer. I first played Panzer Blitz in 1973 or 74. Too long ago. I look forward to exploring your channel.
Thanks! I wanted to understand the phases before starting to play, rather than fumbling through it. Also didn't know how/when could move a fixed-place weapon. This "intro" of yours was perfect for me. Now I'm off to play a few scenarios!
liked and subbed, I bought the tactical board game at least a year ago but just could not get it going - bought the digital version in hope of gaining the necessary knowledge, so appreciate your help with these videos
Yes I was not clear about that. Here's what the rules say: "The Operations Phase consists of the players engaging in alternating impulses. During an impulse a player activates and controls units in one hex or passes. Th player with initiative goes first, then his opponent, and so on until the phase is complete. Once all activated units have either moved, fired, been marked with an Ops Complete maker or after three consecutive passes (I.e. Player One passes, Player Two passes, player one passes again), the operations Phase ends and the Administrative Phase begins." Hope this clears that up.
Gladmimwatched you play. I purchased and read part of the manual but just didnt make sense. Now seems much clearer. Maybe after I get into it I'll holler for a game?
Yes, tactics would be appreciated. The digital version will bring non-grognards to the game (maybe), and ideas like 'when to use smoke' & how to use The Briefing to help determine basic tactics (i.e. when to kamikaze & when to turtle) would help.
I just finished a video in which I explain what I am doing and why. I hope to post it within the next 24 hours. After you see it let me know if it helps and what else you think I could do to help.
@@WazGamer Sounds good, Youngster! Subscribed. I just checked out 'Ultimate Admiral', which looks very good also. It looks like I have a lot of videos to watch. I'll need more tea.

We are the same age. I played PanzerBlitz for the first time in 1970. I still have my original copy of PanzerBlitz.

It's a lot of fun indeed. Good to hear from you my friend.
Each module will come in 4 parts
What do you mean?
@@WazGamer I mean eg.. like the Nam pack and the Normandy pack will have four parts to each of them in the future
NICE!
At timecode 24:28 you say if you pass "a second time" something will happen, but you had already passed at least two times before.

Great! If you want a game I am Waz on Steam. We will have to figure out how to get a friend request code to each other.
Hi Waz,
Thanks for the videos, Is the multiplayer active with players in this game?
Some scenarios are multiplayer ready. Hopefully before too long all will be.
Can you play both sides? (Hotseat?). Thinking it is too good of a deal to pass up.
I think so. I'll have to give it a try.
Maybe you can do some tutorials for this down the line Waz? - Thx
I don't know if I am am a great "tutorial" kinda guy. What do you mean - tactics or how the game works?

Great video... please do some learning tutorial videos for us lazy people who don’t want to read the whole rules! LOL
I will try to remember to talk about why i am playing the way I am. I hope that helps. New video tomorrow.
