Repairing a Walmart Onn Android TV Box | Unscripted Coding

I'm a big fan of the Onn Android TV Box from Walmart, but mine is starting to have some trouble connecting with the remote. I reheat the connections around the wireless chip to give this device some new life. Nothing fancy, but saved myself $20.

I had an update recently and it fixed the problem with the remote staying connected

Hi, the 4 contacts on the board, next to the USB connector...
For an extra USB connector?
Modding possible with a cable and aerial USB female connector...

You can add a usb OTG cable to it also if that could suit your needs

hey did this fix actually stick? I tried just letting it hang outside it's case. still overheating

Yup, I left a note at the end that I had to do it again off camera again, but same steps (minus the camera blocking my view). Working strong since then.

My onn 4k TV box (walmart) is not working. It has a continous red light on and despite pressing reset button, no response. Any solution please
