The duct tape bucket is a great idea.. if you take a roll with you.. Most skills are common sense if you have the equipment or materials... Vaseline mixed with any combustible fuel (toilet paper, cotton wool or material or twiggs or grass) makes excelent fire starters or lighters Finding scissors in the bush is a miracle. You could use your hunting knife or dagger to do what the scissors did... Protecting the axe handle should be done at home even for work around the house to hammer handles and done prior to any outing.. Using a plastic bottle around the shaft or handle and heated to give a shrink fit, is a more viable proposotion. A second and third bottle cn be added fir extra protection. Burning the rope end is a total waste of gas... any fuel should be use extremely carefully in a survival mode regardless...
What kind of weird camper goes into the woods with coins, a balloon, duct tape, scissors, vaseline, and a grater instead of water impermeable bags, a knife, and a fire accelerant?
Everything is suggestion ideas that you can use, I have many forget to carry a necessary item that was not to be forgotten. What does video do with ideas, suggestions.
