Eric Adams is such a great singer , to think Ronnie dio introduced this band in the early days of manowar. And now this great tribute , but you have to admit. How good Eric sings , you can't replace Ronnie.

Great version but i think Manowar and specially Eric Adams were so much respectful here...and they recorded a "clean" cover...I think Adams could have taken the vocal lines to his own level with his tipical death, low and powerful tones
Never speak against Manowar with such disregard! This is not a band for your everyday metal fan, it is for Manowarriors. We are fewer, but truer. If you know what I mean. As for Eric Adams, I can't agree more. While there are some unique, hard to reproduce voices (Halford, Dio, even Hetfield, Dickinson), in my opinion Eric performs the best of all, because he is actually into the songs himself. Hard to describe, but whoever watched Manowar live, he'll know. His performance rarely has any difference between live and record, sometimes he sounds better live?!! That's rare, very very rare. And when Eric sings, his voice is so pure that you can actually understand what he is singing, even when he screams. Odin bless him and Manowar!
Sorry, but no band ever had songwriting, singing and sound like Manowar on Kings of Metal, Louder Than Hell, Warriors of the World and Gods of War. I like my sound to be epic and powerful. Eric Adams is one of the reasons no one can give you feelings like Manowar. When he sings high parts, he does not sound effeminate like many metal singers do. He sounds strong in high parts, not like someone kicked him in the balls. ;) Plus, they are gifted with DAWK's genius (R. I. P.) and a man of no compromises as a leader. I respect many bands, there is just no one as great as Manowar. Never was and by far not in sight.

As much as I think Manowar are one of the best bands, Dio is untouchable. No one can quite sing like him. I admire all the bands in the tribute and I get it why they did it, respect and all, but all the songs are just not quite the same.
cmrcx I know. Just that the songs lack that feeling when you listen to Dio singing and thinking "Doesn't get better than that!". Listening to covers to Dio songs for me feels like driving Opel Calibra and thinking you're in a Ferrari. Doesn't quite cut it, like watching a Nutella jar and thinking it's gotta be delicious but once you get the real thing, you're blown away.
georgi krastev Hear Jorn's covers of Dio he sounds a lot like Dio and can cover his songs better than anyone, Of course no one can compare to Dio but Jorn does a pretty close imitation
I see all the positive comments about this song and I know it’s just to spread good vibes. This really isn’t all that great though. It’s just not a good choice for Eric Adams. Though Manowar did have a serious side, it was never Dio serious. On the flip side Dio covering, say, All Men Play on 10 probably wouldn’t be a good idea either lol! They’re just so different.
The band sounds great, maybe better than Dio band or even Heaven and Hell, but the singer... Despite his great voice in other Manowar songs I think this song is not for him. At least Dio is DIO.
