Bougainville Political Journey - MLTR Remix

In the 1980s a bloodiest civil war broke out on Bougainville resulting in thousand of dead of many Bougainvilleans including children, old people and many civilians. The war was fought between the local Bougainvilleans and Papua new Guinea soldiers. This a collection of video footage taken during the Bougainville civil war.
Between November and December of 2019 a non binding referendum was held for tow options. A greater autonomy and Independence. Overwhelm result was in favour of Independence with 98% voted for
