I'm with you 100%. As with most WB/DC films, the Sony "Marvel" films I tend to shy away from. I've seen the first Venom film on free streaming and that's it, really. I didn't even watch all the original Spider-Man films prior to the MCU. Even the best ones just aren't as great as some fans make them out to be because they were desperate for content back in the day. Raimi is cool and I always loved Maguire and Dunst was surprisingly hot (and Emma Stone perfect as Gwen), but I think I've only seen the first two Maguire movies and the first Garfield one.

I would say, that it's not a downright terrible movie, it's just very forgettable and bland. It just never really comes together. It's worth a watch when it hits a streaming service maybe for like a hangover day or something but it's certainly not a good movie. I don't think any of the actors did a terrible job either, there just didn't seem to be a lot to work with and some of the dialogue was questionable.
It was pretty bad, yeah, some parts are fun but not for the reasons I think they intended. Makes me wonder how the new Blade is going to handle vampires when they can't show blood.
Now that marvel cut short the very successful Phase Bore of the M She U they will proceed to fuck up Blade on the phase 5. They won't stop until they run it to the ground
With the animated "Spiderverse trilogy" going on,Sony is just being petty..Using Spider-Man villains so that the keep the rights to them,and Marvel still gives them a sizeable portion of the box office wherever the character is on screen
I love superhero movies. It usually don't have to be very good for me to love it. This was just unbelievably awful. It's like the first draft of a movie. There are no guts to it or any sort of connective tissue. There are no characters or character development. Things just happen for the sake of them happening. Its truly embarrassing that Sony allowed it to come out in theaters. They had 2 years to make it better and they didn't.

Nice reaction, as usual! This Morbius movie is 20 years too late. You would swear the script was written well before the MCU's become a thing, in those days where superheroes movies felt tepid and disjointed. Lifeless film, from start to finish, with D grade dialogue and barely competent direction.
Honestly the whole thing just felt so rushed by the time it finished I was like: "was that it?" Could of benefited being an extra 30 minutes longer in establishing the main characters coz their was no development whatsoever.

Plus he has good movies in his repertoire so I don't see why you're blaming him. I really don't know how much say the producer has over the movie. Spider-Man 1 and 2 which are good movies. Iron Man, Punisher, the Blade trilogy, both Ghost Rider movies, and the x-men series. It's not like Zack Snyder who writes and directs his movies and they all suck. And every movie in his repertoire is terrible. And they all have the same consistent flaws such as scenes that don't make any sense, bad writing and two-dimensional characters ( the only good movies he has made in his entire life are the remake of The Dawn of the Dead which was James Gunn. And the first Wonder Woman movie which there's no way that he wrote Wonder Woman's character it's so different from everything else he has ever written if he can make well developed characters why doesn't he do it for every other character writes for
