Hello, The latest major system update for PS5 consoles is now (7.0). At the time of this video I was on an older system version and Astro Playroom was still available. I would imagine if you reset your console the Astro Playroom will still be available. If not, you could reinstall the Astor playroom from your Game Library.
@@systemsoundtheater1236 i did the reset on console after 1 day of buying it. The reason i did it for was coz i downloaded and started to play ufc on ps5 but as the game loads and after playing when i close the game my tv screen goes off for 2-3 sec and then comes back on i thought something was wrong with my console 🥺
Probably not since it sounds like internet issues appose to console issues. Steps i take to help with lag CONSOLE: 1. Reboot your console 2. Perform a Rebuild Database 3. Delete useless content or games not playing 4. Replace hard drive (More advanced to why) 5. Connect to the network by ethernet wire (Avoid wireless, I believe PS4 only supported up to 10MB on wireless) INTERNET: 1. Reboot your router and modem weekly 2. Update the firmware on your modem 3. Upgrade your modem (Older modems support slower speeds) 4. Upgrade your ISP (Internet service provide) FIBER OPTICS all the way 5. Use Wire and not wireless Hope this helps
Try to follow the 10 steps and see if its helps. I continue to practice most of the steps provided. Other issues that I experienced are: 1. Failing hard drive 2. GPU over heating, try to leave your console in open spaces to breath 3. Incorrect HDMI cables 1.4 vs 2.0 4. Playing on TV vs playing on Gamming monitor. 5. Console, TV or Monitor settings. Look into gamming modes and refresh rates Good luck
If you select (Reset your console) you will wipe everything including your games and game data on that console. Its best to backup your game data online before you proceed. If you select (Restore Default settings) Your games and data will not get removed
Your games and data will still remain on your PSN Online account. Selecting (Reset Your Console) will only remove the games and data on your console only.
That should be easy. You will need to use the C port to USB cable to connect the PS5 controller to the Console. Once connected press the PS5 button on the controller. if you are still having issues try pressing the reset button at the back of the controller. Follow the steps to complete the setup. good luck
@@systemsoundtheater1236 sorry I should have clarified I’m plugged in as well the controller light comes on orange. From there the screen prompt says to push the PS5 button and the controller light flickers blue and then returns to orange. I’ve also done the controller reset.
Different Colors on the controller typically have a meaning. Blue light - First player with a healthy charge. Red light - Second player. Orange light - Controller with a low charge, no charge or not connected. With your issue there could be a reason why it’s not connecting. 1. Try charging your controller. 2. Connect a different controller to your PS5. 3. Test your controller with another PS5 or PC. 4. Test another C port cable connected between the controller and PS5.
@@sumeetsidhu8194 I’m having the same problem. When I first turn on the console my controller is able to connect for a short time, then it disconnects. If you find a fix please let me know!
@@boatguy6994 What I ended up doing was getting a normal charging brick for the usb-c cable to plug into a wall outlet. I let the controls charge overnight and the next day I was able to move forward after the reset. If you haven’t done so yet try a different charging cable when you charge it and also for the console.
I have a PS4 that turns off randomly. I believe it could be related to the CPU/GPU heatsink in the unit. If you have a PS5 and its still under warranty I would contact SONY. www.playstation.com/en-ca/support/hardware/ps5/
YES - If you select (Reset you console). That will wipe everything and restore to factory settings like the day it was purchased brand new. Caution: Remember your account and password, backup any data you want to keep.
@@systemsoundtheater1236 one more qeustion because i still dont fully understand i know it resets it too the day u bought it but do all the accounts go back to default settings because then i can get my main acccount back
If you select (Reset Your Console) all content on console storage including accounts, games, apps, screenshots, video clips, and saved data will be deleted. You may want to back up your game data, screenshots, video clips and other saved data online or on an external USB drive. After the console is reset you will be able to setup your account again.
1. If you select (Restore Default Settings) YES - your account will still be there. 2. If you select (Reset Your Console) No - Everything will be removed and wiped.
Your online data should not be deleted, but you should backup your files and games online before your factory reset your console. My video (How to Transfer Data from PS4 to PS5) somewhat shows how, but I will try to make a video how to backup your data online.
If I reset it then I sign in to my psn again will it still download my games and my account details again
Pending on the type of reset you do. If you do a full system reset you will have to download all games and updates.
After doing this is Astro's Playroom still available on the console ?

Do u loose your stuff on da games when u play again?
Sorry I am not sure what you are asking, could you clarify your question. Thanks

Would the wireless controllers still need to update after resetting?
Only if there is an update for the controller. My console prompted for an update about a month ago.
