I don't get this? Its a high priced playlist service. And since other DJ's are doing all the work compiling these lists, why is it so expensive? My music sub service is not this much.
This is amazing!! Thanks for the awesome video Justin. There are so many times I hit a wall with my music programming & can't figure out where to carry the energy. I'm gonna have to try this tool out!!
So my question is.... It's clearly to help organize your music and create a playlist inside of software like serato etc etc. But will this work for engine 2.0? I have a stand alone mixer the numark midstream pro.
Not a bad idea but you still have to go and download all those songs you don’t have to begin with. How different is this then a record pool with curated playlist
Your video is very informational and I'm very much interested in crate hackers ... the one question I'm kind of confused on....... In some of the statements I'm reading it says that it will import your playlist from any of my preferred music pool....or can I use it based on the music libraries that I have attached to my system very much interested I just want to clarify that if I have my own library on the hard drive external hard drive it will be able to go and read it and put a playlist together
Hey there ... Yes the primary use of CH is that the app scans your library and then track matches the playlists in CH to the files on your computer. "import your playlist from any of my preferred music pool" is not an accurate statement. CH is connected to a handful of pools, so if you are logged into a pool that you are member of, it will show whether or not a specific track is available in that pool. This is good to note if you DO NOT have a specific track, you can then see if your pool does. And it's cool that you are able to do that within the app, instead of having to go into the pool and search. Hopefully that make sense, it's a bit hard to describe, but is very clear when you see this in action within the CH app. Hope you are enticed to check it out. There's a sign up link in the top of the video description!
Question. do you only have access to these songs while being subscribed to crate hackers? For example let’s say I subscribe make a few crates and then unsubscribe do the tracks disappear or ???
CH is not a record pool, so you wouldn't be getting any tracks from it to begin with. Access to the lists of crates would not be available if you are not currently subscribed.
Good tool for all those just starting as a dj.
What do you think of Crate Hackers? Could you use a little help with your playlist building?

Does this search online streaming sites and add them to your virtual Dj playlist. This would be gold!
nope
Also DJing is connecting with your crowd! Talk to them. Go dance with them!! Get out that booth!
Definitely agree on that!
