Price’s swing looks so blasting. His final round is unforgettable and amazing. 1994 was his peak, especially with winning his 2nd US PGA title. After that year, his form started declining rapidly but sadly he lost his caddie (RIP).
I watched it live with my dad. We couldn't decide who to cheer for. We'd seen Price get close but not win before so we were pulling for him, but we also wanted Parnevik to win too. It was an amazing finish either way.
I was fortunate enough to play there this summer…..a fantastic golf course and amazing hotel…..unfortunately the R&A have taken the view that the Open won’t be staged there as long as the bad orange man is the owner……😔😔
Yes, but it’s not because of Donald Trump per se. It’s because the course now has a corporate name (“The Trump Turnberry”). Neither the R&A nor the USGA can stage their Opens at courses with corporate titles.
I'm so pleased for Nick Price he was robbed of victory by Tom Watson and ballesteros but those two champions ruined his chances then in 1994 he finally got his game together and won the oldest major in the world.
Sorry, I disagree with your comment regarding the R&A as they are probably serious about protecting its reputation from the crooked personality of Trump which is difficult enough for them.
@@thetruthsetsyoufree1492 golf fans are more interested in watching great golf at world class venues and less concerned about reputation. R&A are letting their emotions get the better of them and becoming personality obsessed which is a dangerous president to set
What a great venue. Played it a year ago today!! June 9th 2023. Absolutely the finest property in the world. Thank you DT !!

Has Tom Watson ever played in an Open he didn't feature in in some way, shape or form. What a legend
1 putt made the difference …what a class act Jasper was ….
Thank you

I was the same. Couldn't decide. If I remember correctly, I think I favoured Jasper.
Can’t wait for the open to come back here!

Doesn’t matter who the owner is.
It’s the fact the course now has a corporate title, which disqualifies it from staging The Open.
Squeaky in the Man ! RIP
was there then.

Robbed? You mean Watson and seve went genius mode it's not being robbed
Watson won all his British Opens fair and square arsehole
Gary Player basically being homeless after first round for a night in his first Open is an incredible story lol.
That Eagle putt on the 17th was legendary
R&A need to stop being childish and put their personal views of Trump a side and stage the Open here once again

@@thetruth1167 Well, what about Trump’s tax returns?
@@thetruthsetsyoufree1492 what about them? What about bidens crooked money laundering
The R & A are doing a good job in not choosing Turnberry. It's a shame though
