That's a real honey. I usually like totally stock, but the custom touches are practical and subtle. The overall look is original. Kudos to the restorer to refrain from weighing it down with all the typical gaudy bling. A sweet cruiser for sure.
Not quite 50s but there are companies that do such builds. Here is a Mustang we had in the last year or two. www.volocars.com/auto-sales/vehicles/14972/2014-ford-mustang-mach-1-retrobuilt
Wow - what a great Impala!! Wonderful color combo - looks great and sounds really fantastic!! A real head-turning Cruiser!!! Holy Molly!! Thanks a lot for showing this Beauty and Greetings from Austria 👍👍👍🇦🇹😁
I generally don’t care for modded cars BUT this one is over the top well done! Thankfully they didn’t hokey it up with fender skirts and a Continental Kit! A Plus!
Wow, one of my all time favorite dream cars. As far as old school Impala's, 63 and 59 are two of my favorite years, love all the years though. The Cragar SS's are a nice touch. The only thing missing is the front bumper with the grill guard.
I know these cars well. My dad had new one and I own 5 of these cars. So with this one you are buying a new 1959 Chevy Impala. My dad paid $2100 for his 1959 Chevy brand new. 😎
Jay. This was one of the first "corgi toys" l bought as an 8year old . It looked like a space ship compared to our British cars! Another bargain for someone no doubt!
Nice restoration of this gem of a car; love and attention to detail is a delight to see - Congratulations on this beautiful car! Greetings from LIMA-PERU - Dr. JLVV
Holy Mother i would love every moment in this beautyfull extreme wonderfull chevrolet My grand daugther love this car it is awsome and always strong USA
so close to all original. Too bad about the weird pedals modern radio, wheels, etc. When you can have all original, you should.. just for history's sake.
The 1959 Chevy looks so much nicer than the 1959 Ford and the 348 was a real performance engine. Ford had nothing to offer power wise compared to Chevy. The 1960 Ford was the first year you could buy a performance model, the Starliner with a 360 HP 352. There were no bucket seats and the transmission was a 3 speed standard with a column shift.
@@VoloMuseumAutoSales You disagree about that being a nice car???? REALLY? Then why did you take it? OR, if you are disagreeing about "restored" you will need to take that up with Webster, he defined it, not me. Oh....and about your description of a "348 big block", can you post a picture of a 348 small block please? I've never seen one before.
I clicked here to see the car, NOT you standing in front of the car. You could've just as effectively narrated this off camera with the same results - THUMBS DOWN
Nice vid. Sorry, but this is the singularly Ugliest body style Chevrolet Ever created. The guy that created this styling had to have been on Acid, while he was obsessed with an aeronautic theme. I witnessed the debut of this model, and still cannot believe Chevrolet corporate approved the design. Note how quickly Chevy dumped it - one year. I remember Everybody Laughing at Chevy over this..... Made a lot of people switch to Ford.

I wonder what goes through the minds of today's auto designers when they see a masterpiece such as this ? Outta sight beautiful machine !
I would love a modern car with 50s American style

The only thing missing is a two pot master cylinder and at minimum a front disc brake conversion.beautiful car though!!

Can I get proof of this accomplishment? 😜

Apparently you, like so many others have a lacking of understanding when you use the term "restored". A better term would be modified. Nice car though.
We'll agree to disagree then. Thanks for coming by! 👍

It's a design that you'll either love or hate.
