Yes you can use NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen 4 or Gen 3 SSD upto 2 TB.

Bro when you turned on yor laptop after installing ssd have you pressed any different button other than that switch on button to get that boot screen
Bro, press the power button then immediately Press the ESC button for startup menu option then press F9 for boot menu option..

Ya you can use NVMe M.2 2280 PCI-E Gen 4 or Gen 3 SSD in HP 15-da0299tu and upto 2TB storage support and Max RAM Capacity 32GB DDR4..

Ya you can use SATA SSD and HDD in DVD drive slot (buy caddy).

There is no NVMe M.2 slot in this model...only SATA HDD/SSD will support..
Max RAM Capacity is 8GB and only 1 RAM slot available in this model if you upgrade the RAM you need to remove old RAM stick and place new one. If any queries please feel free to drop your comments..

Yes it is possible. But your old HDD will drop your laptop performance. Check the performance after upgrade to SSD if no issues found leave it.

You can use the mentioned SSD.. and CPU is not upgradable because this is soldered CPU I mean BGA. If you want to upgrade the CPU you need to change the whole motherboard.

This laptop support upto 1TB SSD... You can upgrade 512GB SSD + 1TB HDD.. This laptop came for service, customer wants only 250GB and I'm a professional technician.
